महात्मा गांधी राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी अधिनियम (मनरेगा / MNREGA)
भारत में लागू एक रोजगार गारंटी योजना है, जिसे 2 अक्टूबर 2005 को विधान द्वारा अधिनियमित किया गया। यह योजना प्रत्येक वित्तीय वर्ष में किसी भी ग्रामीण परिवार के उन वयस्क सदस्यों को 100 दिन का रोजगार उपलब्ध कराती है जो प्रतिदिन 220 रुपये की सांविधिक न्यूनतम मजदूरी पर सार्वजनिक कार्य-सम्बंधित अकुशल मजदूरी करने के लिए तैयार हैं। 2010-11 वित्तीय वर्ष में इस योजना के लिए केंद्र सरकार का परिव्यय 40,100 करोड़ रुपए था।

The water storage available in 91 major reservoirs of the country for the week ending on March 28, 2019 was 50.307 BCM, which is 31% of total storage capacity of these reservoirs. This percentage was at 33% for the week ending on March 20, 2019. The level of water storage in the week ending on March 28, 2019 was 110% of the storage of corresponding period of last year and 101% of storage of average of last ten years.

Election Commission of India has appointed two eminent former Civil Servants Sh. Gopal Mukherjee and Sh. D.D. Goel as Special Expenditure Observers for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. While Sh. Gopal Mukherjee ex-IRS (1980), former Member of CBDT has been deployed in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and Sh.D.D.Goel ex-IRS (1982), former DGIT(Inv.) been deployed in Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. Both these officers have extensive knowledge of search and seizure operations conducted by the I.T Department.

The Central Statistics Office (CSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has revised the Base Year of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 2010=100 to 2012=100 with effect from the release of indices for the month of January 2015.

Prayagraj Kumbh Mela 2019 has been placed in the Guinness World Records in three sectors. It includes largest traffic and crowd management plan, the biggest painting exercise of public sites under paint my city scheme and biggest sanitation and waste disposal mechanism. A three member team from Guinness World Records visited the Prayagraj for this purpose. Exercise at large scale were done before the team members for three days from February 28 to March 3. Around 503 shuttle buses were pressed into service in one go for the team on February 28 on the highway. Several people participated in painting exercise on March 1 and 10 thousand workers engaged in cleaning at Prayagraj Kumbh performing their duties all together.
