Will the Minister of HEAVY INDUSTRIES भारी उद्योग मंत्री be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government is implementing Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid & Electric Vehicles in India FAME India-II Scheme in Delhi for boosting electric vehicles and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether the Government has provided electric buses in Delhi through State Government or directly to people of Delhi and if so, the details thereof; and
(c) whether the Government is working to create charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Delhi under FAME-II Scheme and if so, the details thereof?

(a): Yes, Sir. The Ministry of Heavy Industries formulated Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles in India Phase II (FAME India Phase II) Scheme for a period of five years commencing from 1st April, 2019 with a total budgetary support of Rs. 10,000 crore on pan India basis including Delhi. This phase mainly focuses on supporting electrification of public & shared transportation, and aims to support through demand incentive 7090 e-buses, 5 lakh e-3 Wheelers, 55000 e-4 Wheeler Passenger Cars and 10 lakh e-2 Wheelers. In addition, creation of charging infrastructure is also supported under the Scheme.
(b): Yes Sir, under FAME-II scheme, 1321 electric buses have been sanctioned in Delhi.
(c): Yes Sir, for creating Charging Infrastructure for electric vehicles in Delhi, MHI has sanctioned 119 charging stations under FAME-II to be setup by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs). In addition, there are 21 charging stations have been commissioned by other entity in Delhi, sanctioned under FAME-II.
