All-India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural and Rural Labourers – August, 2023

The All-India Consumer Price Index Number for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers (Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of August, 2023 increased by 9 points and 8 points respectively to stand at 1224 (One thousand two hundred and twenty four) and 1234 (One thousand two hundred and thirty four) points respectively. The major contribution towards the rise in general index of Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers came from food group to the extent of 8.38 and 7.69 points respectively mainly due to increase in prices of rice, wheat atta, pulses, milk, meat-goat, sugar, gur, chillies-dry, turmeric, garlic, onion, mixed spices, etc.
The rise in index varied from State to State. In case of Agricultural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 2 to 19 points in 20 States. Tamilnadu with 1423 points topped the index table whereas Himachal pradesh with 942 points stood at the bottom.
In case of Rural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 2 to 18 points in 20 States. Andhra Pradesh with 1412 points topped the index table whereas Himachal pradesh with 1003 points stood at the bottom.
Amongst states, the maximum increase in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers was experienced by Meghalaya (19 points) and for Rural Labourers by Gujarat and Meghalaya (18 points each) mainly due to rise in the prices of rice, pulses, beef, groundnut oil, onion, chillies green/dry, firewood, bus fare, etc.
Point to point rate of inflation based on the CPI-AL and CPI-RL stood at 7.37% and 7.12% in August, 2023 compared to 7.43% and 7.26% respectively in July, 2023 and 6.94% & 7.26% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year. Similarly, Food inflation stood at 8.89% and 8.64% in August, 2023 compared to 8.88% and 8.63% respectively in July, 2023 and 6.16% & 6.21% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year.

The All-India Consumer Price Index Number for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers (Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of July, 2023 increased by 19 points each to stand at 1215 (One thousand two hundred and fifteen) and 1226 (One thousand two hundred and twenty six) points respectively. The major contribution towards the rise in general index of Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers came from food group to the extent of 18.23 and 18.28 points respectively mainly due to increase in prices of rice,  wheat atta, pulses, milk, fish-fresh/dry, gur, chillies-green/dry, turmeric, garlic, ginger, onion, mixed spices, brinjal, tomato, gourd, etc.
The rise in index varied from State to State. In case of Agricultural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 1 to 29 points in 20 States. Tamilnadu with 1420 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 932 points stood at the bottom.
In case of Rural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 9 to 28 points in 20 States. Tamilnadu with 1407 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 993 points stood at the bottom.
Amongst states, the maximum increase in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers was experienced by Tamilnadu (29 points) and for Rural Labourers by Tamilnadu and Kerala (28 points each) mainly due to rise in the prices of pulses, fish fresh/dry, chillies-green/dry, ginger, onion, brinjal, tomato, gourd, etc.
Point to point rate of inflation based on the CPI-AL and CPI-RL stood at 7.43% and 7.26% in July, 2023 compared to 6.31% and 6.16% respectively in June, 2023 and 6.60% & 6.82% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year. Similarly, Food inflation stood at 8.88% and 8.63% in July, 2023 compared to 7.03% and 6.70% respectively in June, 2023 and 5.38% & 5.44% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year.

1. The All-India Consumer Price Index Number for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers (Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of June, 2023 increased by 10 points each to stand at 1196 (One thousand one hundred and ninety six) and 1207 (One thousand two hundred and seven) points respectively. The major contribution towards the rise in general index of Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers came from food group to the extent of 9.59 and 8.96 points respectively mainly due to increase in prices of rice, pulses, milk, meat goat, fish-fresh/dry, gur, chillies-green/dry, garlic, ginger, onion, vegetables & fruits, etc.
2. The rise/fall in index varied from State to State. In case of Agricultural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 2 to 20 points in 17 States and a decrease of 4 points in Himachal Pradesh and 18 points in Jammu & Kashmir while it remained stationary for Kerala. Tamilnadu with 1391 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 914 points stood at the bottom.
3. In case of Rural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 1 to 20 points in 18 States and a decrease of 2 points in Rajasthan and 16 points in Jammu & Kashmir. Tamilnadu with 1379 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 973 points stood at the bottom.
4. Amongst states, the maximum increase in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers was experienced by Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu (20 points each) and for Rural Labourers by Andhra Pradesh (20 points) mainly due to rise in the prices of rice, pulses, poultry, fish fresh, chillies-dry, ginger, onion, vegetables & fruits, etc. On the contrary, the maximum decrease in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers was experienced by Jammu & Kashmir (18 points and 16 points respectively) mainly due to fall in the prices of pulses, mustard-oil, fish-fresh, garlic, vegetables & fruits, etc.
5. Point to point rate of inflation based on the CPI-AL and CPI-RL stood at 6.31% and 6.16% in June, 2023 compared to 5.99% and 5.84% respectively in May, 2023 and 6.43% and 6.76% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year. Similarly, Food inflation stood at 7.03% and 6.70% in June, 2023 compared to 6.31% and 6.07% respectively in May, 2023 and 5.09% and 5.16% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year.

ALL-INDIA CONSUMER PRICE INDEX NUMBERS FOR AGRICULTURAL AND RURAL LABOURERS – MAY, 2023
I. The All-Ind ia Consumer Price Index Nu mber for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers (Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of May, 2023 increased by 6 & 5 points to stand at 1186 (One thousand one hundred and eighty six) and 1 1•97 (One thousand one hundred and ninety seven) poi nts respectively. The major contribution towards the rise in general index of Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers came from food group to the extent of 5.29 & 4.72 points respect ively mainly due to increase in prices of rice, pulses, milk, meat goat, chillies dry, garlic, ginger, vegetables & fruits, etc.
2. The rise/fall in index varied from State to State. In case of Agricultural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 2 to 17 points in 11 States and a decrease of 1 to 5 points in 8 States while it remained stationary for Himachal Pradesh State. Tarnilnadu with 1371 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 918 points stood at the bottom.
3. In case of Rural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 1 to 17 points in 12 States and a decrease of 1 to 5 points in 7 States while it remained stationary for Kerala State. Tarnilnadu with 1360 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 968 points stood at the bottom.
4. Amongst states, the  maxi mum increase in the  Consumer Price Index Numbers for both Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers was experienced by Andhra Pradesh State (17 points each) mainly due to rise in the prices of rice, jowar, ragi, pulses, green/dry chillies, onion, vegetables & fruits, etc. On the contrary, the maximum decrease in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers was experienced by Assam State and for Rural Labourers by Odisha State (5 points each) mainly due to fall in the prices ofrice, ragi, mustard-oil, fish-fresh, onion, chilliesgreen, etc.
5. Point to point rate of inflation based on the CPI-AL and CPI-RL stood at 5.99% & 5.84% in May, 2023 compared to 6.50% & 6.52% respectively in April, 2023 and 6.67% and 7.00% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year. Similarly, Food inflation stood at 6.31% & 6.07% in May, 2023 compared to 6.67% & 6.52% respectively in April, 2023 and 5.44% & 5.51% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year.

The All-India Consumer Price Index Number for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers (Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of November, 2022 increased by 8 points each to stand at 1167 (One thousand one hundred and sixty seven) and 1178 (One thousand one hundred and seventy eight) points respectively. The major contribution  towards the rise in general index of Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers came from food group to the extent of 4.05 & 3.56 points respectively mainly due to increase in prices of rice, wheat-atta, jowar, bajra, pulses, meat goat, mustard-oil, milk, ghee, onion, chillies dry, mixed spices, tea-readymade, etc.
The rise/fall in index varied from State to State. In case of Agricultural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 1 to 16 points in 17 States and a decrease of 1 to 9 points in 3 States. Tamil Nadu with 1345 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 912 points stood at the bottom.
In case of Rural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 1 to 16 points in 18 States and a decrease of 5 to 9 points in 2 States. Tamil Nadu with 1333 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 965 points stood at the bottom.
Amongst states, the maximum increase in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural and Rural Labourers was experienced by Bihar State (16 points each) mainly due to rise in the prices of wheat-atta, maize, fish fresh, onion, firewood, vegetables & fruits, etc. On the contrary, the maximum decrease in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers was experienced by Assam State (9 points each) mainly due to fall in the prices of rice, fish-fresh, firewood, vegetables & fruits etc.
Point to point rate of inflation based on the CPI-AL and CPI-RL stood at 6.87% & 6.99% in November, 2022 compared to 7.22% & 7.34% respectively in October, 2022 and 3.02% and 3.38% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year. Similarly, food inflation stood at 6.19% & 6.05% in November, 2022 compared to 7.05% & 7.00% respectively in October, 2022 and 0.88% & 1.07% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year.

The All-India Consumer Price Index Number for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers (Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of June, 2022 increased by 6 points each to stand at 1125 (One thousand one hundred and twenty five) and 1137 (One thousand one hundred and thirty seven) points respectively. The major contribution towards the rise in general index of Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers came from food group to the extent of 3.69 & 3.79 points respectively mainly due to increase in prices of rice, wheat-atta, jowar, maize, milk, meat-goat, fish fresh, poultry, chillies dry, mixed spices, vegetables & fruits, etc.

The rise in index varied from State to State. In case of Agricultural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 1 to 10 points in 19 States while it remained stationary for Jammu & Kashmir State. Tamilnadu with 1299 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 884 points stood at the bottom.

In case of Rural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 1 to 10 points in 20 States. Tamilnadu with 1289 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 935 points stood at the bottom.

Amongst states, the maximum increase in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers was experienced by Kerala State and for Rural Labourers, it was experienced by Madhya Pradesh (10 points each) mainly due to rise in the prices of jowar, topioca, fish fresh, chillies dry, vegetables & fruits, plastic shoes, etc.

Point to point rate of inflation based on the CPI-AL and CPI-RL stood at 6.43% & 6.76% in June, 2022 compared to 6.67% & 7.00% respectively in May, 2022 and 3.83% and 4.00% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year. Similarly, Food inflation stood at 5.09% & 5.16% in June, 2022 compared to 5.44% & 5.51% respectively in May, 2022 and 2.67% & 2.86% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year.

The All-India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers (Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of January, 2022 decreased by 2 points & 1 point to stand at 1095 (One thousand and ninety five) and 1105 (One thousand one hundred and five) points respectively. The major contribution towards the fall in general index of Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers came from Food group to the extent of 4.65 & 4.17 points respectively mainly due to decrease in prices of pulses, mustard-oil, fish-fresh, sugar, gur, onion, vegetables & fruits, etc.

The fall/rise in index varied from State to State. In case of Agricultural Labourers, it recorded a decrease of 1 to 9 points in 11 States and an increase of 1 to 8 points in 9 States. Tamilnadu with 1292 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 869 points stood at the bottom.

In case of Rural Labourers, it recorded a decrease of 1 to 9 points in 10 States and an increase of 2 to 8 points in 8 States while it remained stationary for Madhya Pradesh & Orissa States. Tamilnadu with 1278 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 917 points stood at the bottom.

Amongst states, the maximum decrease in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural and Rural Labourers was experienced by Uttar Pradesh State (9 points each) mainly due to fall in the prices of wheat-atta, pulses, mustard-oil, vegetables & fruits, firewood, etc. On the contrary, the maximum increase in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers was experienced by Himachal Pradesh & Rajasthan States (8 points each) and for Rural Labourers by Jammu & Kashmir (8 points) mainly due to rise in the prices of rice, maize, vegetables & fruits, wheat-atta, meat-goat, shirting cloth cotton (mill), firewood, etc.

Point to point rate of inflation based on the CPI-AL and CPI-RL stood at 5.49% & 5.74% in January, 2022 compared to 4.78% & 5.03% respectively in December, 2021 and 2.17% and 2.35% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year. Similarly, Food inflation stood at 4.15% & 4.33% in January, 2022 compared to 2.99% & 3.17% respectively in December, 2021 and 1.02% & 1.22% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year.

The All-India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers (Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of October, 2021increasedby 14pointseach to stand at 1081 (One thousand and eighty one) and 1090 (One thousand and ninety) points respectively. The major contribution towards the rise in general index of Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers came from Food group to the extent of 12.02 & 11.70 points respectively mainly due to rise in prices of vegatables & fruits, wheat-atta, pulses, onion, meat-goat, fish-fresh, mustard-oil, sugar, gur,chillies-green/dry etc.

The rise/fall in index varied from State to State. In case of Agricultural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 5 to 22 points in 19 States and a decrease of 5 points in Manipur State. Karnataka with 1254 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 870 points stood at the bottom.

In case of Rural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 4 to 22 points in 19 States and a decrease of 5 points in Manipur State. Karnataka with 1252 points topped the index table whereas Bihar with 900 points stood at the bottom.

Amongst states, the maximum increase in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural and Rural Labourers was experienced by Jammu & Kashmir(22 points each) mainly due to rise in the prices of vegetables & fruits, onion, mustard-oil, plastic shoes etc. On the contrary, the maximum decrease in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers was experienced by Manipur State (5 points each) mainly due to fall in the prices of rice, fish-fresh, firewood, vegetables & fruits etc.

Shri D.P.S. Negi, Principal Labour & Employment Advisor & Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) said that point to point rate of inflation based on the CPI-AL and CPI-RL stood at 2.76% &3.12% in October, 2021 compared to 2.89% & 3.16% respectively in September, 2021 and 6.59% and 6.45% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year. Similarly, Food inflation stood at 0.39% &0.59% in October, 2021 compared to 0.50% & 0.70% respectively in September, 2021 and 7.96% & 7.92% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year.

ALL-INDIA CONSUMER PRICE INDEX NUMBERS FOR AGRICULTURAL AND RURAL LABOURERS – SEPTEMBER, 2021

The All-India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers (Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of September, 2021increasedby 1point and 2 points to stand at 1067 (One thousand and sixty seven) and 1076 (One thousand and seventysix) points respectively. The major contribution towards the rise in general index of Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers came from Fuel & Light group and Clothing, Bedding &Footwear group to the extent of 1.93 & 1.86 points and 0.75 & 1.45 points respectively mainly due to rise in prices of firewood, kerosene oil, shirting cloth cotton (mill), leather shoes/chappal, plastic shoes/chappal etc.

The rise/fall in index varied from State to State. In case of Agricultural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 1to17 points in 16Statesanda decrease of 1to10 points in 4 States. Karnataka with 1244 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 856 points stood at the bottom.

In case of Rural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 1 to 12 points in 16Statesanda decrease of 1to8 points in 4 States. Karnataka with 1239 points topped the index table whereas Bihar with 881 points stood at the bottom.

Shri D.P.S.Negi, Principal Labour & Employment Advisor said that amongst states, the maximum increase in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural and Rural Labourers was experienced by Himachal Pradesh State (17&12points respectively) mainly due to rise in the prices of pulses, mustard-oil, milk, vegetables & fruits, kerosene-oil, shirting cloth cotton (mill), plastic chappal, bus fare etc. On the contrary, the maximum decrease in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers was experienced by Tamilnadu State(10 points) and for Rural Labourersby Andhra Pradesh & Tamilnadu States(8 points each)mainly due to fall in the prices of rice, jowar, bajra, ragi, tur dal, meat goat, onion, chillies-green/dry, tamarind, vegetables & fruits etc.

Point to point rate of inflation based on the CPI-AL and CPI-RL stood at 2.89% &3.16% in September, 2021compared to3.90% & 3.97% respectively in August, 2021 and 6.25% and 6.10% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year. Similarly, Food inflation stood at 0.50% &0.70% in September, 2021 compared to2.13% & 2.32% respectively in August, 2021 and 7.65% &7.61% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year.

All India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural and Rural Labourers August 2021

1.     The All-India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers (Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of August, 2021 increased by 5 points and 4 points to stand at 1066 (One thousand and sixty six) and 1074 (One thousand and seventy four) points respectively. The major contribution towards the rise in general index of Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers came from Food group with 2.43 & 2.28 points respectively mainly due to rise in prices of rice, milk, mustard-oil, vanaspati, groundnut-oil, tea leaf etc.

2.     The rise/fall in index varied from State to State. In case of Agricultural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 1 to 15 point in 15 States while a decrease of 2 to 13 point in 5 State. Tamil Nadu with 1247 points topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with 839 points stood at the bottom. 

3.   In case of Rural Laboures, it recorded an increase of 1 to 6 point in 15 States while a decrease of 2 to 12 points in 5 States. Karnataka with 1235 points topped the index table whereas Bihar with 872 points stood at the bottom. 

4.     Amongst states, the maximum increase in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural and Rural Labourers was experienced by Andhra Pradesh State (15 points & 16 points respectively) mainly due to rise in the prices of rice, ragi, fish-dry, sugar, tea readymade, shirting cloth cotton (mill), leather/plastic shoes, toilet soap, hair oil, barber charges etc. On the contrary, the maximum decrease in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural and Rural Labouers was experienced by Kerala State (13 points and 12 points respectively) mainly due to fall in the price of rice, tapioca, pulses, fish-fresh/dry, onion, chillies-green, vegetables and fruits, pan-leaf etc. 

5.     Point to point rate of inflation based on the CPI-AL and CPI-RL stood at 3.90% & 3.97% in August, 2021 compared to 3.92% & 4.09% respectively in July, 2021 and 6.32% and 6.28% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year. Similarly, Food inflation stood at 2.13% & 2.32% in August, 2021 compared to 2.66% & 2.74% respectively in July, 2021 and 7.76 & 7.83% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year.

The All-India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers (Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of June, 2021 increased by 8 points each to stand at 1057 (One thousand and fifty seven) and 1065 (One thousand and sixty five) points respectively. The major contribution towards the rise in general index of Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers came from food with (+) 6.00 points and (+) 6.10 points respectively mainly due to rise in prices of pulses, vegetables & fruits, onion, meat goat, fish fresh/dry, mustard oil, guretc.

कृषि और ग्रामीण श्रमिकों के लिए अखिल भारतीय उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक (आधार: 1986-87=100) माह, जून 2021 के लिए 8 अंक बढ़कर क्रमशः 1057 (एक हजार सत्तावन) और 1065 (एक हजार पैंसठ) रहे।कृषि मजदूरों और ग्रामीण मजदूरों के सामान्य सूचकांक में वृद्धि मुख्य रूप से दालों, सब्जियों और फलों, प्याज, मांस बकरी, मछली की कीमतों में वृद्धिखाद्य समूह सूचकांक ((+) 6.00 अंक) और (+) 6.10 में वृद्धि के कारण हुई क्योंकि दालें, सब्जियां और फल, प्याज, बकरी का मांस, ताजा/सूखी मछली, सरसों का तेल, गुड़ आदि की कीमतों में वृद्धि हुई।

सूचकांक में वृद्धि/गिरावट अलग-अलग राज्यों में अलग-अलग रही। कृषि मजदूरों के मामले में,  19 राज्यों में 1 से 10 अंक की वृद्धि और जम्मू -कश्मीर राज्य में 10 अंकों की कमी दर्ज की गई। तमिलनाडु राज्य 1256 अंकों के साथ सूचकांक तालिका में सबसे शीर्ष पर रहा जबकि हिमाचल प्रदेश राज्य 824 अंकों के साथ सबसे नीचे रहा।

In case of Rural Labourers, it recorded an increase of 2 to 10 points in 19 States and a decrease of 9 points in Jammu & Kashmir State. Tamil Nadu State with 1241 points topped the index table whereas Bihar State with 863 points stood at the bottom.

ग्रामीण मजदूरों के मामले में, 19 राज्यों में 2 से 10 अंक की वृद्धि और जम्मू-कश्मीर राज्य में 9 अंकों की कमी दर्ज की। तमिलनाडु राज्य 1241 अंकों के साथ सूचकांक तालिका में सबसे शीर्ष पर है जबकि बिहार राज्य 863 अंकों के साथ सबसे नीचे रहा।

Amongst states, the maximum increase in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers was experienced by Kerala State (+10 points) and for Rural Labourers it was experienced by four States namely Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu & Uttar Pradesh (+10 points) mainly due to rise in the prices of groundnut oil, vegetables & fruits, fish fresh, meat goat, milk, sugar, onion, chillies-dry, gur, shirting cloth cotton (mill), plastic shoes, medicine, etc. On the contrary, the maximum decrease in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural and Rural Labourerswas experienced by Jammu & Kashmir State (-10 points and -9 points respectively) due to fall in the prices of wheat atta, vegetables and fruits, chillies green, garlic.        

राज्यों में, कृषि मजदूरों के उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक संख्या में अधिकतम वृद्धि केरल राज्य (+10 अंक) में दर्ज की गई। मुख्य रूप से मूंगफली के तेल, सब्जियों और फलों, ताजा मछली, मांस बकरी, दूध, चीनी, प्याज, मिर्च-सूखी, गुड़, शर्टिंग कपड़ा कपास (मिल), प्लास्टिक के जूते, दवा आदि की कीमतों में वृद्धि के कारण ग्रामीण मजदूरों के मामले में चार राज्यों- केरल, महाराष्ट्र, तमिलनाडु और उत्तर प्रदेश (+10 अंक) ने वृद्धि दर्ज की गई। इसके विपरीत, गेहूं आटा, सब्जियों और फलों, मिर्च की कीमतों में गिरावट के कारण कृषि और ग्रामीण मजदूरों के लिए उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक संख्या में अधिकतम कमी जम्मू -कश्मीर राज्य (क्रमशः -10 अंक और -9 अंक) की कमी दर्ज की गई।

Point to point rate of inflation based on the CPI-AL and CPI-RL stood at 3.83% & 4.00% in June, 2021 compared to 2.94% & 3.12% respectively in May, 2021 and 7.16% and 7.00% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year. Similarly, Food inflation stood at 2.67% & 2.86% in June, 2021 compared to 1.54% & 1.73% respectively in May, 2021 and 8.57% & 8.41% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year.

सीपीआई-एएल और सीपीआई-आरएल पर आधारित मुद्रास्फीति की दर जून 2021 में बढ़कर 3.83 प्रतिशत और 4.00% प्रतिशत हो गई। यह मई, 2021 में क्रमश: 2.94 प्रतिशत और 3.12 प्रतिशत थी।  पिछले वर्ष यह इसी महीने के दौरान क्रमशः 7.16% और 7.00 प्रतिशत रही थी। खाद्य मुद्रास्फीति जून, 2021 में 2.67% और 2.86% रही, जो मई, 2021 में क्रमशः 1.54% और 1.73%  रही थी और पिछले वर्ष के इसी महीने के दौरान यह क्रमशः 8.57% और 8.41% थी।

Shri DPS Negi, Director General of Labour Bureau while releasing the index said that the increase in general index of Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers is mainly on account of increase in the prices ofpulses, vegetables & fruits, onion, meat goat, fish fresh/dry, mustard oil, gur, shirting cloth (cotton mill), plastic shoes, firewood and kerosene etc.”

श्रम ब्यूरो के महानिदेशक श्री डीपीएस नेगी ने सूचकांक जारी करते हुए कहा कि कृषि श्रमिकों और ग्रामीण मजदूरों के सामान्य सूचकांक में वृद्धि मुख्य रूप से दालों, सब्जियों और फल, प्याज, बकरी का मांस, ताजा/सूखी मछली, सरसों का तेल, गुड़, शर्टिंग कपड़ा (सूती मिल), प्लास्टिक के जूते, और मिट्टी के तेल आदि की कीमतों में वृद्धि के कारण हुई है।

The CPI – AL and RL for the month of July, 2021 will be released on 20thAugust, 2021.

जुलाई, 2021 के लिए सीपीआई-एएल और आरएल 20 अगस्त, 2021 को जारी किया जाएगा।
