Subject: Inviting articles and cover design for CENBOSEC (Jan – June 2025) – reg.
Dear Principal,
CENBOSEC, CBSE’s biannual e-magazine, serves as a valuable platform for sharing innovative pedagogical ideas, as well as keeping schools updated on the latest initiatives taken by the Board. The e-magazine is available at https://cbseacademic.nic.in/cenbosec_JulDec24.html.
In continuation of the Board’s efforts to align school education with the transformative vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE) 2023, the theme for the CENBOSEC January–June 2025 edition is:
“Multilingualism for an Inclusive India.”
This edition aims to explore how languages, especially Matri Bhasha (mother tongue), contribute to the holistic development of learners and promote inclusivity in classrooms and beyond. Schools are encouraged to reflect on and document their practices, innovations, and experiences around multilingualism and are requested to share their articles for this edition of CENBOSEC e-magazine. Please send in your articles on or before 20th July 2025.

- 4. Multilingual Minds, Global Citizens
Suggested Activities: (In Hindi or English)
Activity A : Entries invited from Educators: Principals and teachers are invited to send their ‘original articles’ in Hindi or English on any of the sub-themes given above for the forth-coming issue of CENBOSEC, using the Google form link https://forms.gle/T978CU6ZP8dduizT9. A committee of experts will select the best articles for publication in this issue and the best 20 articles will be published. The decision of the committee will be final.
Schools may choose to explore Any One of the following sub-themes and Any One suggestive activity based on the sub-theme chosen to submit their entries.
1. Matri Bhasha: The Foundation of Learning
- Lesson plans or activity ideas promoting mother tongue integration
- Reflective articles on using mother tongue in early childhood education
2. Languages: Windows to Culture and Identity
- Documentation of festivals/heritage projects conducted in schools
- Articles on linking language teaching with cultural activities
3. Technology Tools for Language Learning
- Success stories from implementing blended learning for language teaching
- Reports on innovative use of edtech tools (e.g., language apps, digital storytelling)
4. Multilingual Minds, Global Citizens
- Descriptive write-ups of multilingual school environments
- Reports on international collaborations or exchange programs
Activity B : Cover Design : School students are invited to send a ‘cover design’ on the given theme for the forthcoming issue of CENBOSEC, using the Google form link https://forms.gle/NxV3tU6VsbTZWsWW6. The best cover design submitted by a student will be acknowledged and used in this issue.
The guidelines for submission of articles and cover design is attached at Annexure 1.
You are requested to disseminate the above information among all the stakeholders and encourage them to ensure their maximum participation in submitting the articles and cover designs.
