Subject: CBSE Pre-Subroto Cup Football Tournament (2026) – reg.
Dear Principal
‘Subroto Mukerjee Sports Education Society’ organizes the prestigious ‘Subroto Cup Football Tournament’ every year under the aegis of Air Force Sports Control Board. This is a unique tournament wherein the champion school teams from the States and UTs participate.
CBSE teams will also participate in Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2026. For this purpose, CBSE is going to organize ‘CBSE Pre-Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2026’ in Girls (Under-17), Boys (Under-15) and Boys (Under-17) age-groups at zonal and national levels. The national winner team(s) will participate in Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2026 to be organized by Air Force Sports Control Board.
Following may be noted in this regard:
- Each team is to remit registration fee of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) to Subroto Sports Control Board online at www.subrotocup.in
- All the interested schools are required to follow all rules of Subroto Cup available at https://www.subrotocup.in/
- Each team shall pay Rs.500/- per head per day to the organising school for accommodation and meals.
- To Organize: Schools interested to organize CBSE Pre-Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2026 may apply at https://cbseit.in/cbse/2024/sports/Login/Index_subroto till 20.04.2026 (3 pm). The tournaments will be organized between 01.05.2025 and 31.05.2026 (tentatively). Sports Grant of Rs.2 lakh (zonal) and Rs.3 lakh (national) will be given to the school for organizing CBSE Pre-Subroto Cup Football Tournament.
- To Participate: Schools interested to participate in ‘CBSE Pre-Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2026’ should register their teams at https://www.subrotocup.in/register under the ‘CBSE’ (Institution Category). After registering at above mentioned link, please send confirmation email to CBSE organizing venue schools. List of venues and dates of tournaments will be shared shortly. Safety and security of the participants will be the responsibility of the participating schools and the organizing schools.
