CBSE Files Complaint Over Coordinated Cyber Attacks on Post-Result Services Portal
नई दिल्ली। केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (CBSE) ने अपने पोस्ट-रिजल्ट सर्विसेज पोर्टल पर हुए लगातार साइबर हमलों के संबंध में दिल्ली पुलिस की इंटेलिजेंस फ्यूजन एंड स्ट्रैटेजिक ऑपरेशंस (IFSO) यूनिट में औपचारिक शिकायत दर्ज कराई है।
सीबीएसई के अनुसार, 2 जून 2026 को शुरू किए गए इस पोर्टल पर पिछले तीन दिनों से देश-विदेश के कई आईपी पतों से बड़े पैमाने पर दुर्भावनापूर्ण ट्रैफिक भेजकर हमले किए गए। हमलावरों का उद्देश्य पोर्टल को बाधित करना, वैध उपयोगकर्ताओं की पहुंच रोकना और अनधिकृत रूप से जानकारी हासिल करने का प्रयास करना था।
बोर्ड ने स्पष्ट किया कि इन हमलों के बावजूद उसके सभी सिस्टम और डेटाबेस पूरी तरह सुरक्षित हैं तथा किसी भी प्रकार की डेटा चोरी या अनधिकृत पहुंच का कोई मामला सामने नहीं आया है।
सीबीएसई ने बताया कि 24×7 निगरानी और त्वरित प्रतिक्रिया तंत्र के साथ-साथ IIT कानपुर, IIT मद्रास, डिजिटल इंडिया कॉर्पोरेशन, I4C, CERT-In और अन्य केंद्रीय एजेंसियों के सहयोग से इन हमलों को सफलतापूर्वक विफल कर दिया गया। मामले की विस्तृत जांच जारी है।

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has filed a formal complaint with the Intelligence Fusion & Strategic Operations (IFSO) Unit of Delhi Police concerning a series of coordinated and sophisticated cyber attacks directed at its Post-Result Services Portal. As the portal caters to lakhs of students across the country for availing post-result services, any disruption to its functioning has the potential to adversely impact a large number of stakeholders, cause significant public inconvenience, and affect public order and create dissatisfaction amongst students against the Board.
The portal, launched on 2nd June 2026 to facilitate services such as verification and re-evaluation of answer scripts for candidates who had appeared in the XII Board Examination, was subjected to repeated and coordinated cyber attacks over the past three days. The attacks involved large volumes of malicious traffic originating from multiple IP addresses within and outside the country.
The apparent objective of the attackers appeared to destabilize the platform, deny access to legitimate users, and attempt unauthorized extraction of information by the elements inimical to national interest.
In view of the nature, scale, and coordinated character of these attacks, CBSE has approached the IFSO Unit for a detailed investigation and appropriate legal action against those responsible. It is emphasized that despite these malicious attempts, CBSE’s systems and databases remain secure and uncompromised. No data breach or unauthorized access has been detected.
The attacks were successfully mitigated through continuous 24×7 monitoring and response mechanisms, with support from cybersecurity teams of IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, Digital India Corporation, the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), CERT-In, and other Central Government agencies.
