Subject: Orientation cum Capacity Building Workshop for Principals/Teachers on Implementation of Vocational Education, Art Education and Physical Education under NEP 2020 – reg.
Dear Principal,
In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which envisions the integration of vocational education from Grade 6 onwards. The policy aspires that by 2025, at least 50% of learners will have access to vocational education, emphasizing experiential learning over rote memorization.
In this regard, it is informed that NCERT has developed activity cum textbooks (Link: https://ncert.nic.in/textbook.php?fekb1=0-6) named as Kaushal Bodh as an experiential learning framework to support the integration of Vocational Education, Art Education and Physical Education into school curricula, particularly in alignment with the NEP 2020 and NCFSE 2023 from grade 6 onwards. It provides structured guidance for implementing skill-based projects and activities in Grades 6 to 8, aiming to connect classroom learning with the world of work. Further, NCERT textbooks are also available for the new curricular areas – Art Education and Physical Education.
Seeing its importance, Board in association with NCERT, is organizing one-day Orientation cum Capacity Building Workshop on the Implementation of Vocational Education, Art Education and Physical Education under NEP 2020 for Principals/Teachers of the affiliated schools as per the schedule mentioned below:

Please note that:
a) Prior registration is mandatory for attending this workshop.
b) Participation is limited to 350 Principals/Teachers only on a first-come, first-serve basis.
c) Travel and accommodation expenses shall be borne by the participants itself.
Principals of the affiliated schools are requested to attend the workshop along with their Vocational, Art and Physical Education Teacher.
