Will the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare be pleased to state:

(a) the salient features of Pradhan Mantri Kisan MaandhanYojana (PMKMY) and the terms and condition for registration under the scheme;

(b) the total number of registered farmers and number of farmers found eligible and ineligible for the scheme and also the number of farmers who were deprived of registration in Uttar Pradesh since 2019, till date;

(c) the steps being taken by Government to include those farmers under the scheme who were deprived of registration; and

(d) the details of farmers who have received the amount under the said scheme in Uttar Pradesh till date, instalment-wise and district-wise?

(a) to (c):   Pradhan Mantri Kisan MaanDhan Yojna (PMKMY) is being implemented in order to provide social security net for the Small and Marginal Farmers (SMF) by way of pension. Under this scheme, provision has been made for payment of a minimum fixed pension of Rs. 3,000/- to the eligible small and marginal farmers, subject to certain exclusion clauses, on attaining the age of 60 years. The Scheme is a voluntary and contributory pension scheme, with entry age of 18 to 40 years. Any farmer with a landholding of up to 2 hectares and between the age of 18 to 40 years can opt to become member of the Scheme by subscribing to a Pension Fund. The beneficiary is required to contribute Rs 100/ – per month at median entry age of 29 years. The Central Government also contributes to the Pension Fund in equal amount, managed by the Life Insurance Corporation, which is also responsible for pension pay out.

As on 31/01/2022, a total of 21,86,918 are enrolled in the Scheme in the country out of which 2,48,787 farmers are registered in Uttar Pradesh.

(d): Under PMKMY, provision is made for payment of a minimum fixed pension of Rs. 3,000/- to the eligible small and marginal farmers, subject to certain exclusion clauses, on attaining the age of 60 years. As the Scheme is a voluntary and contributory pension scheme, with entry age of 18 to 40 years, no beneficiary has yet attained the age of 60 to be eligible for payment.

(a) the salient features of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sammann Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana;

(b) the details of the funds sanctioned, allocated and utilized under the said scheme in Rajasthan so far;

(c) the number of beneficiaries in Ganganagar and Dausa districts of Rajasthan covered under the said scheme so far along with the details thereof;

(d) whether the Government proposes to increase the funds allocated for this scheme;

(e) if so, the details thereof; and

FEATURES OF PM-KISAN SCHEME
(a): The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme is a Central Sector Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Scheme, under which, financial assistance of Rs.6000/- per annum is provided to all landholding farmer families across the country, subject to certain exclusion criteria relating to higher income strata, to enable them to take care of expenses related to agriculture and allied activities as well as domestic needs. The amount is transferred in three 4-monthly installments of Rs. 2000/- each, directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiary farmers identified by the State/UT Governments. Payment is done on the basis of Aadhaar seeded data of beneficiaries, except for the State/UTs of Assam, Meghalaya, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, which have been given exemption in this regard upto 31st March, 2021.

(b) Under the PM-KISAN Scheme, funds are not allocated and sanctioned State-wise. As regards utilization of funds in the State of Rajasthan, around 70,82,035 beneficiaries have been given benefit of the Scheme so far covering various installments. An amount of Rs.7632.695 crores have been spent under the Scheme with respect to the State of Rajasthan so far.

(c) The number of beneficiaries in Ganganagar district of Rajasthan covered under the Scheme is 1,45,799 while the number of beneficiaries in the Dausa district of Rajasthan stands at 1,71,661.

(d) No Sir. There is no proposal to increase the funds allocated under PM-KISAN scheme.

(e)&(f) Does not arise in view of the above.
