Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether the work under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Housing for All has been initiated and if so, the details thereof, State-wise;
Details of Houses Sanctioned, Grounded and Completed
(b) whether the houses under the said scheme have already been constructed and if so, the details of total number of houses built in the country, State-wise including Rajasthan; and
(c) the number of people who have been  benefitted under the said scheme till date?
ANSWER
THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS

(a) to (c): Yes, Sir. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) is implementing Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban (PMAY-U), Housing for All since 2015 to provide pucca house with basic amenities to the eligible urban families across the country. As on 28.11.2022, 1.20 crore houses have been sanctioned for the eligible households of urban India including Rajasthan. Out of this, more than 64 lakh have been completed and delivered to the beneficiaries and remaining are at various stages of construction/grounding. The State-wise details of houses sanctioned, grounded and completed is at Annexure.
