Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state:
क्या रेल मंत्री यह बताने की कृपा करेंगे किः
(a) whether the Railways has started Premium Tatkal Ticket facilities for passengers;
(क) क्या रेलवे ने यात्रियों के लिए प्रीमियम तत्काल्न टिकट की सुविधा शुरू की है;
(b) if so, the details thereof including the salient features of Premium Class Tickets;
(ख) यदि हां, तो तत्संबंधी ब्यौरा क्या है और प्रीमियम श्रेणी के टिकटों की मुख्य विशेषताएं कया हैं;
(c) the revenue generated through Premium Class Tickets during each of the last three years and the current year;
(ग) गत तीन वर्षों में प्रत्येक वर्ष और वर्तमान वर्ष के दौरान प्रीमियम श्रेणी टिकटों के माध्यम से कितना राजस्व अर्जित किया गया है;
(d) whether the Government has achieved the objective for which Premium Tatkal Ticket facility has been introduced and if so, the details thereof;
(घ) क्या सरकार ने प्रीमियम तत्काल टिकट सुविधा शुरू करने के उद्देश्य को प्राप्त कर लिया है और यदि हां, तो तत्संबंधी ब्यौरा क्या है;
(e) whether at some point of time the Premium Class Ticket fares are very costly and if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor;
(ड) क्या किसी विशेष समय पर प्रीमियम श्रेणी के टिकट का मूल्य बहुत महंगा होता है और यदि हां, तो तत्संबंधी ब्यौरा क्या है और इसके क्या कारण हें;
(f) the steps taken by the Government to reduce the fares of Premium Tatkal Tickets; and
(च) सरकार द्वारा प्रीमियम तत्काल टिकटों का मूल्य कम करने के लिए क्या कदम उठाए गए हैं; और
(g) whether refund is not given to the passengers on cancellation of Premium Tatkal tickets and if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor and the corrective steps taken in this regard?

KUMAR AND SHRI SELVAM G. TO BE ANSWERED IN LOK SABHA ON 27.07.2022 REGARDING PREMIUM TATKAL TICKET FACILITIES
प्रीमियम तत्काल टिकट की सुविधाओं के संबंध में 27.07.2022 को लोक सभा में श्री गजानन कीर्तिकर, डॉ. पोन गाँतम सिगामणि, श्रीमती मंजुलता मंडल, श्री सी.एन. अन्नादुरई, श्री धनुष एम. कुमार और श्री जी. सेल्वम के अतारांकित प्रश्न सं. 1712 के भाग (क) से (छ) के उत्तर से संबंधित विवरण।
(a) to (e): Yes, Sir. With effect from 01.10.2014, in some of the selected trains identified by Zonal Railways which are high in demand, 50% of the existing accommodation under Tatkal Quota has been earmarked as Premium Tatkal Quota and is being booked on dynamic pricing. This is a slab based fare scheme where the fare increases by 20% after each slab of 10% berths are sold subject to maximum three times of tatkal fare.
(क) से (ड): जी हां, 01.10.2014 से क्षेत्रीय रेलों द्वारा पहचान की गई कुछ चुनिंदा रेलगाड़ियों, जिनकी मांग अधिक है, में तत्काल कोटे के अंतर्गत मौजूदा बर्थों को 50% प्रीमियम तत्काल कोटा के रूप में निर्धारित किया गया है और इसे परिवर्तनशील मूल्य पर बुक किया जा रहा है। यह एक स्लेैब आधारित किराया योजना है जहां 10% बर्थ के प्रत्येक सस्लैब के बाद किराया 20% बढ़ जाता है और यह अधिकतम तत्काल किराए का तीन गुना हो सकता है।

(f): At present, there is no such proposal.
(च): वर्तमान में, ऐसा कोई प्रस्ताव नहीं है।
(g): Since like tatkal quota, premium tatkal quota is booked on only one or two days of advance reservation period therefore no refund of fare is granted for confirmed ticket booked under premium tatkal quota. However, in case of cancellation of trains, reservation with partially confirmed status etc., refund is granted as per rule.
(छ): चूंकि तत्काल कोटे की तरह, प्रीमियम तत्काल कोटा अग्रिम आरक्षण अवधि से केवत्र एक या दो दिन पूर्व बुक किया जाता है, इसलिए प्रीमियम तत्काल कोटे के तहत बुक किए गए कन्फर्म टिकट के लिए किराए का कोई रिफन्ड नहीं दिया जाता है। बहरहाल, गाड़ियों के रद्द होने, आंशिक रूप से कन्फर्म सीट वाले आरक्षण आदि के मामले में, नियमानुसार रिफन्ड प्रदान किया जाता है।
