Subject: Filling of Centre Code in Class-X in the Answer Book for Term-II Examination-2022
Madam/Sir,
The Board’s Examination for Classes X Term-II would commence from 26th April, 2022.
This year the Centre Numbers allotted to all the Centres are of 06 numeric digits instead of past format of 05 numeric digit. Some Answer Books of Class-X are having space for entering only 05 numeric digits on the title page of the Answer Books. This is only in the case of schools situated in the jurisdiction of Regional Offices Patna, Praygraj, Trivandrum, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar & Chennai. The correct method of entering the centre code on these Answer Books has been explained in Annexure-A. The following action is therefore required to be taken by all the schools/centres:
ACTION BY SCHOOLS
(a) All the schools shall brief their students in advance about the correct method of filling the Centre Code in the Answer Books having space for entering only 05 numeric digits on the title page of the Answer Books.
ACTION BY EXAMINATION CENTRES
(a) All the Centres shall brief their staff on invigilation duty about the correct way of entering centre number in case the Answer Books provided in their rooms are having only 05 numeric digits on the title page of the Answer Books.
(b) The invigilators shall brief their students about the correct method of filling the Centre Code in the Answer Books having space for entering only 05 numeric digits on the title page of the Answer Books before the start of examination .
(c) The invigilators shall personally check the Centre Code filled in by all the examinees in the Answer Books to ensure correctness of the Centre Number.
All the schools and centres are therefore , requested to brief the students to fill the Centre Code in the answer book as per the Annexure-A
