Will the Minister of Education be pleased to state:
(a) the number of Elementary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools that have been upgraded under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) during each of the last three years, state/UT-wise;
(b) the details of the latest school enrolment rate of SC/ST/OBC girls at primary level and the States that have made significant progress in this regard during the said period; and
(c) the details of the current status of school enrolment rate of girls at secondary level?

(a): The details of number of new/upgraded elementary, secondary and higher secondary schools under Samagra Shiksha during the last three years i.e. 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23, State/UT-wise is at Annexure-I.
(b): The data regarding number and percentage of enrolment of SC/ST/OBC girls at primary level during the years 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 is as under:

The States/UTs that have made significant progress across all categories during this period are Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Goa, Ladakh, Punjab, Telengana and Andhra Pradesh.
(c): The Gross Enrolment Rate of girls at secondary level in the country is 45.
