Will the Minister of MINORITY AFFAIRS be pleased to state:

(a) the details of applications received and funds approved  for pre-matriculation, post-matriculation and Merit-cum-Means scholarship schemes implemented for minorities in Uttar Pradesh during the last five years;

(b) whether the State Government has fully utilised the funds and if not, the reasons therefor; and

(c) whether any amount is outstanding with the State Government under this scheme and if so, the details thereof?

(a): The Ministry of Minority Affairs implements three Scholarship Schemes viz. Pre- Matric, Post Matric and Merit-cum-Means based Scholarship Schemes for the educational empowerment of students belonging to economically weaker sections of the six notified minority communities i.e. Buddhist, Christian, Jain, Muslim, Parsi and Sikh in all States/UTs across the country. The details of  applications  received, verified and funds approved under the 3 Scholarship Schemes for the applicants of Uttar Pradesh during the last five years i.e. from 2016-17 to 2020-21 are as under:-
