Details of of Type-5A Government Accommodation and Garages (Pool-wise) at Lodhi Road Complex

Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) the total number of type-V houses and garages at Lodhi Road Complex (opposite Kendriya Vidyalya), New Delhi as on date and the details of the pool under which these houses and garages have been allotted to Officers, date, House and Garages-wise;
(b) the details of the period in which each garage in above complex remained vacant during the last three years along with reasons therefor and their status as on 20 January, 2022;
(c) whether any norms have been fixed for the allotment of garages for the vehicles of the allottees of the Government houses and if so, the details thereof;
(d) the reasons for not allotting the vacant garages to the allottees of the Government houses in the said housing complex and Officials/staff responsible for this; and
(e) the action likely to be taken against such officials/staff in this regard?

(a) There are 63 type 5A houses at Lodhi Road Complex and there are 45 garages for type 5A houses at Lodhi Road Complex. Details of Pool, date of allotment of these houses are annexed at Annexure-I and that of garages are annexed as Annexure-II.
(b) Details of the period in which each garage at Lodhi Road Complex remained vacant during the last 3 years and its status as on 20 January, 2022 is annexed as Annexure-III.
(c) Garages for type 5 houses are allotted in accordance with Rule 20 of the Central Government General Pool Residential Accommodation Rules, 2017 which reads as follows:
20. Allotment of garages for type V accommodation in Delhi.-
(1) An allottee who has been allotted a type VA or Type 5B accommodation to which a garage is not attached shall be eligible for allotment of a garage in the locality in which his accommodation is situated.
(2) The deemed date of application for allotment of garage shall be the date of technical occupation of initial allotment of accommodation by the allottee for the locality, subject to the guidelines issued by Directorate of Estates time to time.
(3) There shall be a unified waiting list for initial as well as for change of allotment of garage.
(4) The allotment of garages shall be made as per the instructions issued from time to time by the Directorate of Estates.
Norms for allotment of garages for the vehicles of the allottees of Government houses have been prescribed by the Directorate of Estates vide its O.M. No.12035/3/92-Pol.II(Vol.III) dated 14.05.2018.
(d)& (e) Allotment of vacant garages for type 5A is made online by Automated System of Allotment (ASA) through e-Sampada website of the Directorate of Estates. Hence, officials of Directorate of Estates cannot be held responsible if the allottees do not apply/bid online for any garage and thereby it remains vacant.
