Jal Jeevan Mission: ₹9,544 cr of drinking water schemes approved in Jharkhand In Jharkhand, drinking water supply schemes totalling ₹9,544 crore have been approved under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). water While the ₹3.6 trillion Mission aims to ensure tap water supply to all rural households, or ‘Har Ghar Jal’, by 2024, several states have committed to provide tap water connections to all rural households before 2024. “315 water supply schemes to benefit 7.97 lakh households in 4,424 villages of Jharkhand," the Ministry of Jal Shakti said in a statement. Over 5.50 crore rural households across the country have been provided with tap water connection since the launch of the Mission in August 2019. “These schemes will provide tap water supply to about 8 lakh rural households in 4,424 villages of the State," the statement said and added, “As on date, out of 59.23 lakh rural household in the State, 10.18 lakh (17.20%) are getting tap water supply in their homes." The Commission, in accordance with the Rule 16 (4) & (5) of the Civil Services Examination Rules, was also maintaining a Consolidated Reserve List in order of merit below the last recommended candidate under the respective categories. 3. As sought by the Department of Personnel & Training, the Commission has now recommended 75 candidates which include 52 General, 19 OBC, 02 EWS and 02 SC, to fill up the remaining posts based on the Civil Services Examination, 2020. Index of Eight Core Industries (Base : 2011-12=100) for the month of November, 2021 Ministry of Commerce & Industry INDEX OF EIGHT CORE INDUSTRIES (BASE: 2011-12=100) FOR NOVEMBER, 2021 Posted On: 31 DEC 2021 5:00PM by PIB Delhi The Office of Economic Adviser, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) is releasing Index of Eight Core Industries (ICI) for the Month of November, 2021. ICI measures combined and individual performance of production in selected eight core industries viz. Coal, Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Refinery Products, Fertilizers, Steel, Cement and Electricity. The Eight Core Industries comprise 40.27 percent of the weight of items included in the Index of Industrial Production (IIP). Details of yearly and monthly indices and growth rates are provided at Annex I & II respectively. The combined Index of Eight Core Industries stood at 131.7 in November 2021, which increased by 3.1 per cent (provisional) as compared to the Index of November 2020.

Form of particulars to be furnished along with return of income for claiming deduction under clause (b) of sub-section (1B) of section 10A : Income-tax (35th Amendment) Rules, 2021 MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) (CENTRAL BOARD OF DIRECT TAXES) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 29th December, 2021 INCOME-TAX G.S.R. 903(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 10A read with section 295 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct taxes hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Income-tax Rules,1962, namely:─ 1. Short title and commencement. –– (1) These rules may be called the Income-tax (35th Amendment) Rules, 2021. (2) They shall be deemed to have come into force from the 29th day of July, 2021. 2.
