कृषि, सहकारिता एवं किसान कल्याण विभाग ने 2020-21 के लिए प्रमुख कृषि फसलों के उत्पादन का तीसरा अग्रिम अनुमान जारी किया है। कुल खाद्यान्न उत्पादन 30.544 करोड़ टन रहने का अनुमान है। केन्द्रीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री श्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने कहा, “हमारे किसान भाइयों और बहनों के अथक प्रयासों, कृषि वैज्ञानिकों के योगदान, भारत सरकार की नीतियों और राज्य सरकारों से मिले बेहतर सहयोग और समन्वय के चलते यह सकारात्मक स्थिति बनी है। प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी का जोर कृषि क्षेत्र के विकास पर है।”
The Third Advance Estimates of production of major agricultural crops for 2020-21 have been released by the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare. The total foodgrain production is estimated at 305.44 million tonnes. Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar stated that, “this positive situation is the result of tireless efforts of our farmer brothers and sisters, contributions of agricultural scientists, policies of the Government of India and better cooperation and coordination from State Governments. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s focus is on the development of the agricultural sector.”
विभिन्न फसलों के उत्पादन का आकलन राज्यों से मिले आंकड़ों पर आधारित है और अन्य स्रोतों से उपलब्ध जानकारी से इसका सत्यापन किया गया है। 2005-06 से अभी तक का प्रमुख फसलों के उत्पादन का तुलनात्मक अनुमान साथ में संलग्न है।
The assessment of production of different crops is based on the data received from States and validated with information available from other sources. The comparative estimate of production of principal crops since 2005-06 is enclosed.

As per 3rd Advance Estimates, the estimated production of major crops during 2020-21 is as under:

- चावल – 12.146 करोड़ टन।(रिकॉर्ड)
- गेहूं – 10.875 करोड़ टन।(रिकॉर्ड)
- पोषक तत्व/ मोटे अनाज – 4.966 करोड़ टन।
- मक्का – 3.024 करोड़ टन।(रिकॉर्ड)
- दालें – 2.558 करोड़ टन।
- तुअर – 0.414 करोड़ टन।
- चना – 1.261 करोड़ टन।(रिकॉर्ड)
- तिलहन – 3.657 करोड़ टन।
- मूंगफली – 1.012 करोड़ टन।(रिकॉर्ड)
- सोयाबीन – 1.341 करोड़ टन।
- रेपसीड और सरसों – 0.999 करोड़ टन।(रिकॉर्ड)
- गन्ना – 39.280 करोड़ टन।
- कपास – 3.649 करोड़ गांठें (प्रत्येक 170 किग्रा)
- जूट और मेस्टा – 0.962 करोड़ गांठें (प्रत्येक 180 किग्रा)

As per Third Advance Estimates for 2020-21, total Foodgrain production in the country is estimated at record 305.44 million tonnes which is higher by 7.94 million tonnes than the production of foodgrain of 297.50 million tonnes achieved during 2019-20. Further, the production during 2020-21 is higher by 26.66 million tonnes than the previous five years’ (2015-16 to 2019-20) average production of foodgrain.
वर्ष 2020-21 के दौरान चावल का कुल उत्पादन रिकॉर्ड 12.146 करोड़ टन रहने का अनुमान है। यह विगत 5 वर्षों के 11.244 करोड़ टन औसत उत्पादन की तुलना में 90.1 लाख टन अधिक है।
Total production of Rice during 2020-21 is estimated at record 121.46 million tonnes. It is higher by 9.01 million tonnes than the last five years’ average production of 112.44 million tonnes.
वर्ष 2020-21 के दौरान गेहूं का कुल उत्पादन रिकॉर्ड 10.875 करोड़ टन अनुमानित है। यह विगत पांच वर्षों के 10.042 करोड़ टन औसत गेहूं उत्पादन की तुलना में 83.2 लाख टन अधिक है।
Production of Wheat during 2020-21 is estimated at record 108.75 million tonnes. It is higher by 8.32 million tonnes than the average wheat production of 100.42 million tonnes.
पोषक/मोटे अनाजों का उत्पादन 4.966 करोड़ टन अनुमानित है, जो वर्ष 2019-20 के दौरान हुए 4.775 करोड़ टन उत्पादन की तुलना में 19.1 लाख टन अधिक है। इसके अलावा, यह औसत उत्पादन की तुलना में भी 56.8 लाख टन अधिक है।
Production of Nutri / Coarse Cereals estimated at 49.66 million tonnes, which is higher by 1.91 million tonnes than the production of 47.75 million tonnes achieved during 2019-20. Further, it is also higher by 5.68 million tonnes than the average production.
वर्ष 2020-21 के दौरान कुल दलहन उत्पादन 2.558 करोड़ टन अनुमानित है जो विगत पांच वर्षों के 2.193करोड़ टन औसत उत्पादन की तुलना में 36.4 लाख टन अधिक है।
Total Pulses production during 2020-21 is estimated at 25.58 million tonnes which is higher by 3.64 million tonnes than the last five years’ average production of 21.93 million tonnes.
2020-21 के दौरान कुल तिलहन उत्पादन रिकॉर्ड 3.657 करोड़ टन अनुमानित है जो 2019-20 के दौरान 3.322 करोड़ टन उत्पादन की तुलना में 33.5 लाख टन अधिक है। इसके अलावा, 2020-21 के दौरान तिलहनों का उत्पादन औसत तिलहन उत्पादन की तुलना में 60.2 लाख टन अधिक है।
Total Oilseeds production in the country during 2020-21 is estimated at record 36.57 million tonnes which is higher by 3.35 million tonnes than the production of 33.22 million tonnes during 2019-20. Further, the production of oilseeds during 2020-21 is higher by 6.02 million tonnes than the average oilseeds production.
वर्ष 2020-21 के दौरान देश में गन्ने का उत्पादन 39.280 करोड़ टन अनुमानित है।वर्ष 2020-21 के दौरान गन्ने का उत्पादन औसत गन्ना उत्पादन 36.207 करोड़ टन की तुलना में 3.073 करोड़ टन अधिक है।
Total production of Sugarcane in the country during 2020-21 is estimated at 392.80 million tonnes. The production of sugarcane during 2020-21 is higher by 30.73 million tonnes than the average sugarcane production of 362.07 million tonnes.
कपास का उत्पादन 3.649 करोड़ गांठें (प्रति 170 किग्रा की गांठें) अनुमानित हैं, जो औसत कपास उत्पादन की तुलना में 45.9लाख गांठें अधिक है। जूट एवं मेस्ता का उत्पादन 96.2 लाख गांठें (प्रति 180 किग्रा की गांठें) अनुमानित हैं।
Production of Cotton is estimated at 36.49 million bales (of 170 kg each) is higher by 4.59 million bales than the average cotton production. Production of Jute & Mesta is estimated at 9.62 million bales (of 180 kg each).
