Policy  for  Streamlining  of  the  Procedure   and  Fee  Structure  for Temporary Allotment of Open Spaces/Community Halls of the DDA

Sub: Clarification  w.r.t.  Policy  for  Streamlining  of  the  Procedure   and  Fee  Structure  for Temporary Allotment of Open Spaces/Community Halls of the DDA for various functions.

In continuation with letter dated 05.12.2019, 1 1.12.2019 and 18.12.2019 regarding Clarification with respect to the Policy for Streamlining of the Procedure and Fee Structure for Temporary Allotment of Open Spaces/Community Halls of the DOA for various functions. In this regard it is informed that vide letter dated 05.12.2019, it was intimated that Booking for religious purpose will  not be allowed during the marriage season (i.e. from  8th day of Margashirasha (Agrahayaoa) to first day of Pausha month and entire month of Magha every year, as per vedic/Shaka Calendar).

It is further clarified that in addition to that, blockage period for marriage season during summer months will be from 1st to 30th day of Falgun month and thereafter from 1st Day of Vaisakha month to last day of Asadha month every year, as per  Vedic Calendar (booking for religious purpose will not be allowed during the marriaeg season every year).

Accordingly the blockage period as per the marriage seasons (as per Vedic calendar is as under), booking for religious purpose will not be allowed during the marriage season every year as  follows:-

• 1st day of Magha Month till the 30th day of Falgun month.
• 8th day of Margashirasha to 1st day of Pausha month.
• From  1st Day of Vaisakha  to last day of Asadha  month  every year, as per  Vedic Calendar.

The above mentioned Clarification w.r.t the policy may please be implemented with immediate effect.

All concemed are requested to take immediate action accordingly for the smooth implementation of the above mentioned clarifications in the policy.
