Open New Kendriya Vidyalaya at CCL Dakra, Ranchi from 2026–27

ORDER
Approval of the Hon’ble Minister of Education-Cum-Chairman, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, is hereby accorded to open new Kendriya Vidyalaya Central Coalfields Limited(CCL), Dakra, District – Ranchi, Jharkhand (under Project Sector) at the following location with classes I to V (single section in each class) from the academic year 2026-27 with consequential growth based on feasibility:
Kendriya Vidyalaya CCL, Dakra
At Dakra, P.O. Dakra Colliery, District Ranchi, Jharkhand – 829210
The Project Authority i.e. Central Coalfields Limited, Darbhanga House, District – Ranchi will be responsible to provide:-
- 1. Permanent Vidyalaya building as per the specifications of the KVS.
- 2. 100% staff quarters to all the staff of the Kendriya Vidyalaya.
- 3. All recurring & non-recurring expenditure including 15% Administrative Overhead Charges (AOC) and also future development expenditure.
The project Authority shall remit the budgeted amount of recurring/non-recurring expenditure in advance installments to the Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Ranchi i.e. first installment in the month of April and second in the month of October for each financial year.
In case the project authority fails to fulfill their commitment as agreed to as per MoU, the Competent Authority, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is empowered to reduce the number of classes/sections.
The admission to the Kendriya Vidyalaya will be as per the priorities/admission guidelines prescribed by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan from time to time for the KVs under Project Sector.
The admission process may be completed within 30 days after completion of all pending formalities of land and temporary accommodation, if any.
