SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES
129. SHRI MOHIBBULLAH:
Will the Minister of EDUCATION be pleased to state:
(a) the details of list of all scholarship schemes that are being provided by the Government;
(b) the total number of students eligible and number of beneficiaries under each of the scholarships under the Government in the country during the last three years, State/UT/district and year-wise particularly in Uttar Pradesh; and
(c) the amount of funds allocated to spread awareness about these scholarship schemes?

(a) to (c): The Government is implementing different scholarship schemes for providing financial assistance to all categories of students, subject to extant scheme guidelines. The details of these schemes including the eligibility criteria laid down for scholarship are available in the following websites:

The number of beneficiaries under each of the scholarships under the Government in the country during the last three years, State/UT/district and year-wise particularly in Uttar Pradesh may be accessed at https://www.education.gov.in/parl_ques.
To spread awareness among the students, information regarding the scholarship is disseminated through print and social media among the stakeholders, including education departments and higher secondary boards of all States. Information useful for the students are also provided at dedicated students’ section of the National Scholarship Portal. The details of the funds available for the spreading awareness may be accessed at https://www.education.gov.in/parl_ques.
