Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state:

(a) the details of applications received under Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana across the country;

(b) the number of applicants who have got employment under this scheme;

(c) the State-wise and District-wise details of such applications received in Madhya Pradesh including Bhind and Datia district; and

(d) the benefit of this scheme in the above mentioned districts?

STATEMENT REFERRED TO IN REPLY TO PARTS (a) TO (d) OF UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 1127 BY SHRIMATI SANDHYA RAY TO BE ANSWERED IN LOK SABHA ON 26.07.2023 REGARDING RAIL KAUSHAL VIKAS YOJANA

(a) : The total number of applications received up to July, 2023 under Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana is 2,46,652.

(b) : The  objective  of the  scheme is to  provide  training  to unemployed youth which would enable them to get employment. Candidates imparted training under Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana have no claim to seek employment on Railways on the basis of such training.

(c) : There are 07 Railway Training Institutes in 04 districts of Madhya Pradesh, where training under Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana is being imparted. State-wise and District-wise details of such applications received in Madhya Pradesh are as under:

There is no Railway Training Institute in Bhind and Datia districts of Madhya Pradesh.

 

(d) : Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana is a skill development programme for the unemployed youths of India with the objective of imparting technical training in various trades to enhance their employability and entrepreneurship. This program is intended to enhance the skill of a person so that he / she can easily get a job or can start his / her own start up.
