MHADA : 3,120 flats in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad under MHADA scheme
On Monday (20th March), Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis conducted an online lottery for 3,120 flats in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad on behalf of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) Pune division. The lottery was held on the occasion of Gudi Padwa.
Fadnavis emphasized the need to provide modest and affordable housing facilities to citizens who come to the city for employment. He urged MHADA to speed up its projects and ensure the quality of construction. Additionally, he suggested that MHADA should plan and draw lots of houses immediately to provide more houses.
3,120 flats in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad
The online lottery drew flats from various housing schemes in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad under the MHADA Housing Scheme, 20 per cent Comprehensive Scheme, and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) by the Pune Board. MHADA Vice President and Chief Executive Officer Anil Diggikar, Housing Department Additional Chief Secretary Valsa Nair Singh, and Pune Board Chief Nitin Mane were present on the occasion.
According to Nitin Mane, 58,467 applicants registered for 6,058 flats through the Pune Board. Out of this, 2,938 flats were made available under the first-come priority scheme, and 55,845 applications were received for 3,120 flats. Those who were allotted flats in the draw were informed through SMS and e-mail, and the information was also made available on the MHADA website.
