Will the Minister of MINORITY AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether Naya Savera Scheme (NSS) has been implemented in West Bengal;
(b) if so, the number of beneficiaries under this scheme in West Bengal, especially in Maldaha Uttar Parliamentary Constituency, year-wise;
(c) the number of States where the scheme has not been properly implemented due to conflicts between States and Centre;
(d) whether the Government proposes to adopt new scheme like Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) so that the NGOs/Private Education Institutes may be directly engaged by the Union Government without intervention of the State Government; and
(e) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

STATEMENT REFERRED TO IN REPLY TO PARTS (a) TO (e) OF STARRED QUESTION NO. *133 ANSWERED ON 15.12.2022 REGARDING NAYA SAVERA SCHEME BY SHRI KHAGEN MURMU
(a) & (b) Yes, Sir. Ministry of Minority Affairs had implemented the Free Coaching and Allied Scheme (Naya Savera) across the country including West Bengal till 2021-22.
The number of beneficiaries in the state of West Bengal for the year 2019-20 is 590, 2020-21 is 500 and 2021-22 is 550. Parliamentary Constituency-wise data of the beneficiaries is not maintained by the Ministry.
(c) No such instance has come to the notice of the Ministry.
(d) & (e) No, Sir.
