BENEFICIARIES UNDER PMAY-U
Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) the number of beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban (PMAY-U) in Uttar Pradesh and the number of houses allotted to them under the yojana;
(b) the funds allocated under PMAY-U in Uttar Pradesh during the financial years 2019-20 and 2021-22; and
(c) the number of houses allotted to beneficiaries under PMAY-U during the said period?

(a): A total of 17,33,672 houses have been sanctioned, of which 14,23,139 houses are grounded and 9,71,143 houses are completed/delivered to the beneficiaries in the state of Uttar Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Urban (PMAY-U).
(b): The funds allocated under PMAY-U in Uttar Pradesh during the financial years 2019-20,2020-21 and 2021-22 are ₹4,046.36 crore, ₹20594,936.00 crore and ₹1,673.73 crore respectively.
(c): The number of houses allotted/sanctioned to beneficiaries under PMAY- U during 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 are 3,80,046, 2,61,998 and 6,617 respectively.
