Will the Minister of Education be pleased to state क्या शिक्षा मंत्री यह बताने की कृपा करेंगे कि
(a) whether it is a fact that the Yuva Pradhan Mantri Yojana has been introduced to train young and emerging writers (less than 30 years of age ) in order to promote Indian heritage, culture and education system;
(क) क्या यह सच है कि भारतीय विरासत, संस्कृति और शिक्षा प्रणाली को बढ़ावा देने के लिए युवा और नवोदित लेखकों (30 वर्ष से कम आयु) को प्रशिक्षित करने हेतु युवा प्रधानमंत्री योजना की शुरूआत की गई है;
(ख) यदि हां, तो इस योजना की मुख्य-मुख्य बातें क्या हैं; और
(ग) क्या युवा-प्रधानमंत्री योजना के अंतर्गत *एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत” को बढ़ावा देने के लिए भारतीय संस्कृति और साहित्य के आदान-प्रदान को सुनिश्चित करने हेतु एक भाषा के साहित्य का अन्य भारतीय भाषाओं में अनुवाद किये जाने की कोई कार्य योजना है?

STATEMENT REFERRED TO IN REPLY TO PARTS (A) TO (C) OF THE RAJYA SABHA STARRED QUESTION NO. 36 FOR 22ND JULY 2021 ASKED BY DR. ANIL JAIN REGARDING YUVA PRADHAN MANTRI YOJANA FOR YOUNG WRITERS
“युवा लेखकों के लिए युवा-प्रधानमंत्री योजना” के संबंध में दिनांक 22.07.2021 को माननीय संसद सदस्य डा. अनिल जैन द्वारा पूछे जाने वाले राज्य सभा तारांकित प्रश्न संख्या 36 के भाग (क) से (ग) के उत्तर में उल्लिखित विवरण
(a) Yes, Sir. PM-YUVA ( Prime Minister’s scheme for mentoring Young Authors) has been launched to train young and emerging writers (less than 30 years of age) in order to promote Indian heritage, culture and education system.
(क) : जी, हाँ। पीएम-युवा (युवा लेखकों को परामर्श हेतु प्रधानमंत्री की राष्ट्रीय योजना) भारतीय विरासत, संस्कृति और शिक्षा प्रणाली को बढ़ावा देने के लिए युवा और नवोदित लेखकों (30 वर्ष से कम आयु वाले) को प्रशिक्षित करने हेतु युवा लेखकों (युवा, उभरते हुए और बहमुखी लेखक) का मार्गदर्शन करने के लिए युवा प्रधान मंत्री योजना शुरू की गई है।
(b) The salient features of the scheme include the following:
(ख) : योजना की मुख्य विशेषताओं में निम्नलिखित शामिल हैं:
- (i) The scheme has been designed to groom a group of young and budding writers consisting of school, college and university students below 30 years of age, to promote reading, writing and book culture in the country and to project the country and Indian writings on the global platform.

(i) इस योजना को युवा और उभरते लेखकों का समूह तैयार करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है, जिसमें स्कूल, कॉलेज और विश्वविद्यालय के 30 वर्ष से कम आयु वाले छात्र शामिल होंगे, जिससे देश में पठन, लेखन और पुस्तक संस्कृति प्रोत्साहित हो एवं देश और भारतीय लेखन को वैश्विक मंच पर प्रदर्शित किया जा सके।
- (ii) The subject of writing is on a spectrum of themes like Unsung Heroes, Freedom Fighters, Unknown and Forgotten Places and their role in National Movement and other related themes.

(ii) लेखन का विषय अनसुने योद्धाओं, स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों, अज्ञात और भूले बिसरे स्थानों और राष्ट्रीय आंदोलन में उनकी भूमिका और अन्य संबंधित विषयों की विविध श्रेणियां हैं।
- (iii) Besides, the scheme provides a window to the aspiring youth to articulate themselves in their mother tongue. The Language of entry is in English and 22 Scheduled languages of India.

(iii) इसके अलावा, यह योजना महत्वाकांक्षी युवाओं को अपनी मातृभाषा में स्वयं को अभिव्यक्त करने के लिए एक अवसर प्रदान करती है। इसमें अँग्रेजी और भारत की 22 अधिसूचित भाषाओं में प्रविष्टि दी जा सकती है।
- (iv) This Scheme is a social investment for a knowledge based society, percolating the idea of appreciation of literature and language among the young creative minds.

(iv) यह योजना ज्ञान आधारित समाज के लिए एक सामाजिक निवेश है, जो युवा रचनात्मक प्रतिभाओं में साहित्य और भाषा के समृद्धि कारक भावों को जाग्रत करती है।
- (v) The contest period is between 1st June to 31st July, 2021.

(v) प्रतियोगिता की अवधि 1 जून से 31 जुलाई, 2021 के बीच है।
(c) Yes. The books, selected under the PM-YUVA Scheme, have been designed to be translated into different Indian languages to ensure the exchange of Indian culture and literature in order to promote `Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’. The full details of the Scheme are available at nbtindia.gov.in.
(ग) जी, हाँ। पीएम-युवा के तहत चयनित पुस्तकों को विभिन्न भारतीय भाषाओं में अनुवाद करने के लिए डिजाइन किया गया है ताकि “एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत” को प्रोत्साहित करने की दिशा में भारतीय संस्कृति और साहित्य का आदान-प्रदान सुनिश्चित किया जा सके। योजना का पूरा विवरण nbtindia.gov.in पर उपलब्ध है।
