New Delhi, the 10th June, 2021
G.S.R. 440(E).—In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18 of Central Reserve Police Force Act, 1949(66 of 1949), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Reserve Police Force, Group ‘B’ posts (General Duty, Technical and Tradesmen Cadre) Recruitment Rules, 2014, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Central Reserve Police Force, Group ‘B’ posts (General Duty, Technical and Tradesmen Cadre) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2021.
(2) They shall come into Force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Reserve Police Force, Group ‘B’ posts (General Duty, Technical and Tradesmen Cadre) Recruitment Rule, 2014, (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 4, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-
“4. Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix.- The number of posts, their classification and the level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule amended to these rules.”;
3. In the said rules, in the Schedule,-
(a) (i) against serial number 1, relating to the post of General Duty Cadre Sub-Inspector(General Duty), in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely :-

Level -6 (Rs. 35400-112400/-).”; |
- (A) ‘Note 1’ shall be renumbered as “Note”;
- (B) ‘Note 2’ shall be omitted;
- (b) (i) against serial number 2, relating to the post of Inspector (General Duty), in column (4), for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level -7 (Rs. 44900-142400/-).”;
- (A) ‘Note 1’ shall be renumbered as “Note”;
- (B) ‘Note 2’ shall be omitted;
- (c) (i) against serial number 3, relating to the post of Technical Cadre Sub-Inspector (Armourer), in column (4), for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level -6(Rs. 35400-112400/-).”;
- (A) ‘Note 1’ shall be renumbered as “Note”;
- (B) ‘Note 2’ shall be omitted;
- (d) (i) against serial number 4, relating to the post of Sub-Inspector (Motor Mechanic), in column (4), for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level -6(Rs. 35400-112400/-).”;
- (A) ‘Note 1’ shall be renumbered as “Note”;
- (B) ‘Note 2’ shall be omitted;
- (e) (i) against serial number 5, relating to the post of Sub-Inspector (Motor Transport), in column (4), for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level -6(Rs. 35400-112400/-).”;
- (A) ‘Note 1’ shall be renumbered as “Note”;
- (B) ‘Note 2’ shall be omitted;
- (f) (i) against serial number 6, relating to the post of Inspector (Armourer), in column (4), for the entries relating thereto the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“ Level -7 (Rs. 44900-142400/-).”;
- (A) ‘Note 1’ shall be renumbered as “Note”;
- (B) ‘Note 2’ shall be omitted;
- (g) (i) against serial number 7, relating to the post of Inspector (Motor Transport), in column (4), for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“ Level -7 (Rs. 44900-142400/-).”;
- (A) ‘Note 1’ shall be renumbered as “Note”;
- (B) ‘Note 2’ shall be omitted;
- (h) (i) against serial number 8, relating to the post of Tradesmen Cadre Sub-Inspector (Tailor), in column (4), for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level -6(Rs. 35400-112400/-).”;
- (A) ‘Note 1’ shall be renumbered as “Note”;
- (B) ‘Note 2’ shall be omitted;
- (i) (i) against serial number 9, relating to the post of Sub-Inspector (Brass Band), in column (4), for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level -6(Rs. 35400-112400/-).”;
- (A) ‘Note 1’ shall be renumbered as “Note”;
- (B) ‘Note 2’ shall be omitted;
- (j) (i) against serial number 10, relating to the post of Sub-Inspector (Pipe Band), in column (4), for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level -6(Rs. 35400-112400/-).”;
- (A) ‘Note 1’ shall be renumbered as “Note”;
- (B) ‘Note 2’ shall be omitted;
- (k) (i) against serial number 11, relating to the post of Inspector (Band), in column (4), for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level -7 (Rs. 44900-142400/-).”;
- (A) ‘Note 1’ shall be renumbered as “Note”;
- (B) ‘Note 2’ shall be omitted.
