LOAN SCHEMES FOR TRIBAL WOMEN

Will the Minister of Tribal Affairs be pleased to state:

(a)the scheme-wise details of the proposals received and approved under various loan schemes for the development of tribal women in Rajasthan during each of the last three years and the current year;

(b) the number of beneficiaries under these  loan schemes, year-wise; and

(c)the number of tribal women who  have  been provided loans under various loan schemes in Banswara-Dungarpur, Rajasthan to set  up  industry  by imparting training in this regard along with the details thereof?

Statement referred to in reply to parts (a) to (c) of Lok Sabha Starred Question No. 184 for answer on 08.03.2021 tabled by SHRI KANAKMAL KATARA, regarding ‘LOAN SCHEMES FOR TRIBAL WOMEN’.

(a) & (b): National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation (NSTFDC), under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs extends concessional loans to the eligible Scheduled Tribe persons for undertaking any income generation activities/ self-employment through its implementing agencies. These concessional loans of NSTFDC in the state of Rajasthan are extended through its State Channelising Agency named Rajasthan SC ST Finance and Development Co-operative Corporation. In addition, in the state of Rajasthan loans are also extended through Punjab National Bank. Detail of amount disbursed and number of women beneficiaries assisted in Rajasthan under various schemes of NSTFDC during last three years and current year upto 28.02.2021 is given below:
