Will the Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs be pleased to state:
(a) whether Government is committed to the promise of ‘Housing for All’ by 2022;
(b) if so, the targets and achievements made during the last three years, State-wise;
(c) the details of low-cost houses using alternative global technologies and materials proposed in various cities; and
(d) the time by when the projects would be completed, the details thereof?

(a) Yes, Sir.
(b) The details about targets and achievements made during the last three years, State- wise, areannexed as Annexure – I.
(c) The Union Government, under Global Housing Technology Challenge-India, had launched 6 Light House Projects in 6 cities using innovative, alternate, resource efficient and sustainable technologies. The details are annexed as Annexure – II.
(d) PMAY-U Mission has strategized to complete the construction of houses sanctioned under the Mission by the year 2022.
