Allocation of Funds under AMRUT Scheme

Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state:

(a) the quantum of funds allocated to all 60 cities of West Bengal since the inception of AMRUT scheme;

(b) the details of projects initiated in all the cities of West Bengal under AMRUT scheme; and

(c) whether the Union Government has received utilisation certificate from the State Government and if so, the details thereof?

(a) All the State Annual Action Plans (SAAPs) for the 60 cities/towns selected under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation  (AMRUT)  in  the State  of  West  Bengalhavebeen approved for Rs. 4,035 crore including committed Central Assistance of Rs. 1,929.32 crore, out of which Rs. 984.30 crore has been released. (b). So far, State of West Bengal has awarded contracts for 450 projects costing Rs. 3,560.28 crore, of which 325 projects amounting to Rs. 382.37 crorehave been completed. Further, projects costing about Rs. 474.72 crore are at various stages of tendering. The city- wise details of projects under AMRUT is placed as Annexure.

(c). So far,State of West Bengal has submitted Utilisation Certificates worth Rs. 907.03 crore against Rs. 1,225.96 crore released as Central Assistance for various components of AMRUT. The details have been tabulated below:
