भारत सरकार द्वारा आदिवासी कल्याण के लिए योजना/कार्यक्रमों के तहत हस्तक्षेप की जाती है और राज्य सरकारों / संघ राज्य क्षेत्र प्रशासनों से प्राप्त प्रस्तावों और परियोजना मूल्यांकन समिति (PAC) द्वारा अनुमोदन और अनुमोदन के आधार पर राज्य सरकारों / संघ राज्य क्षेत्रों प्रशासनों को धन मुहैया कराया जाता है जिसका उपयोग आदिवासी के कल्याण के लिए किया जाता है।  तीन वर्षो  मे सरकार द्वारा दिया गया बजट का विवरण नीचे है।

(a) At present the following schemes / programmes are being implemented by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs for welfare of Scheduled Tribes :-

(b)  The interventions under the schemes / programmes of the Ministry are demand driven and funds are provided to State Governments/UT Administrations based upon proposals received from the State Governments/UT Administrations and after appraisal and approval by a Project Appraisal Committee (PAC) in the Ministry. Funds are allocated by the Ministry scheme-wise, and not State-wise. The details of funds allocated for tribal welfare under the schemes / programmes of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs during the last three years is given at Annexure.

(c) & (d)  Ministry of Tribal Affairs does not propose to introduce any special scheme in any State at present.
