India has achieved tremendous progress in agriculture and allied sectors under Modi government and is committed to doubling farmers’ income by 2022 through a series of focused programmes: – Radha Mohan Singh 
Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Shri Radha Mohan Singh in his meeting with Mr. Jakob Ellemann-Jensen, Minister for Environment and Food, Denmark solicited greater cooperation in animal health, dairy, food processing and packaging within Mega Food Park, retail marketing, cold chains, warehousing and logistics and post-harvest technology. Shri Singh said that he is confident that the regular exchange of high level visits and interactions under the various institutional mechanisms like Joint Commission Meetings and Joint Working Groups will take the relationship to a higher level.

Shri Singh informed that under Modi government India has made tremendous progress in agriculture and allied sectors and has achieved food security also becoming a net exporter of agriculture commodities. He reiterated the government’s resolve in doubling farmers’ income by 2022 through a series of focused programmes including Soil Health Card, Organic farming, Crop insurance, irrigation, e-NAM and strengthening post-harvest management.
