Government Revises Wage Rates for Rural Employment Scheme from July 1, 2026
केंद्र सरकार ने विकसित भारत – गारंटी फॉर रोजगार एवं आजीविका मिशन (ग्रामीण) अधिनियम, 2025 के तहत अकुशल श्रमिकों के लिए नई दैनिक मजदूरी दरों की अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है। यह अधिसूचना S.O. 3518(E) के माध्यम से जारी की गई है और 1 जुलाई 2026 से प्रभावी होगी।
नई अधिसूचना के अनुसार, राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में योजना के तहत किए जाने वाले अकुशल शारीरिक कार्यों के लिए मजदूरी दरें निर्धारित की गई हैं। इसके साथ ही 26 फरवरी 2013 की पूर्व अधिसूचना S.O. 463(E) को निरस्त कर दिया गया है। हालांकि, पुरानी अधिसूचना के तहत पहले से किए गए कार्यों और निर्णयों पर इसका कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ेगा।
सरकार का कहना है कि नई मजदूरी दरों का उद्देश्य ग्रामीण श्रमिकों को बेहतर पारिश्रमिक उपलब्ध कराना तथा रोजगार और आजीविका को सुदृढ़ करना है। सभी राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में निर्धारित नई दरें 1 जुलाई 2026 से लागू होंगी।

New Delhi, the 30th June, 2026
S.O. 3518(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin): VB-G RAM G (विकवित भारत – जी राम जी) Act, 2025 (36 of 2025) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Rural Development number S.O. 463(E), dated the 26th February, 2013, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii), dated the 26th February, 2013, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby specifies, for the purposes of the said Act, the wage rate applicable to the unskilled manual work provided under the Scheme notified under section 3 of the said Act in column(3) of the Schedule below, in respect of the States and Union territories specified in column (2) thereof, with effect from the 1st day of July, 2026.
