Subject: Participation in 18th World Robot Olympiad India – 2024 – reg.

World Robot Olympiad (WRO) India 2024 is being organized by National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India in collaboration with India STEM Foundation (ISF). This year’s theme is ‘Earth Allies’, which aims to invite robotic solutions for people, nature & environment through imagination, problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, entrepreneurial skills and scientific temperament.
Level 1 of the Virtual Championship Events under ‘Future Innovators’ Category (Competition Category – 1) are open for registration at present and the National Championship will be held in August, 2024 in Delhi NCR. The winners of the National Championship will be participating in the ‘WRO 2024 International Championship’ scheduled for November, 2024 in Turkey. The last dates of registration for Level 1 are 6th May and 2nd June, 2024.
This is to further inform you that entry of one team from any CBSE school into ‘Future Innovators’ Category of the WRO India 2024 is free of cost, and the schools can use any technology of their choice for this category.
The schedule for Level 1 is given below:

All the above events are virtual in Level 1 of the ‘Future Innovators’ Category. Students create innovative, intelligent robotics solutions for the season’s theme. Teams will present their project and robot model to judges on the competition day.
Age Criteria: Elementary (8-12 years), Junior (11-15 years), Senior (14-19 years)
You are requested to disseminate the above information among students of your school and encourage them to participate in this International Championship event in order to develop problem-solving, critical thinking etc. among the students.
