Subject: Addition/Amendment of courses and Eligibility in Ph.D. Entrance Test for DU, JNU, BHU and BBAU – 2023.
1. The candidates are informed that Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has added Six courses in the entrance test for the University. (Details of course is attached at Attachment-II).
2. Banaras Hindu University has added course code SCPH10 for the disciplines of Ph.D. in Fruit Science, Ph.D. in Floriculture and Landscaping, Ph.D. in Vegetable Science.
3. It is to inform that as per the UGC regulation 2022 for Ph.D. admission, “A candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed”, is eligible for Ph.D. admission.
Candidates and other stakeholders are advised to take note of the above and act accordingly.
