GPF interest rate : GPF and other small savings interest rates announced for April-June 2023
According to the notification released on Monday, the General Provident Fund and other similar funds shall carry interest at the rate of 7.1 per cent w.e.f. April 1 2023 to June 30 2023.
The Ministry of Finance has announced the interest rate on General Provident Fund (GPF) for April to June 2023. The Ministry has reiterated the rate at 7.1 per cent. The rate is applicable from April 1, 2023.
According to the notification released on Monday, “It is announced for general information that during the year 2023-2024, accumulations at the credit of subscribers to the General Provident Fund and other similar funds shall carry interest at the rate of 7.1 per cent (Seven points one per cent) w.e.f. 1st April 2023 to 30th June 2023.”
