275. SHRIMATI POONAMBEN MAADAM:

Will the Minister of SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP be pleased to state:-

(a) whether the Government has dedicated Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras for special groups like individuals with disabilities, women-centric programmes, and marginalized communities;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) the details of the total number of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras functioning in the country, State/district-wise; and

(d) the data of total number of women, individuals with disabilities and individuals from marginalized communities who were employed after training within the last three years?

STATEMENT REFERRED TO IN REPLY TO PARTS (A) TO (D) OF LOK SABHA  STARRED QUESTION NO. *275  TO  BE  ANSWERED  ON  20.03.2023  ASKED  BY SHRIMATI POONAMBEN MAADAM REGARDING PRADHAN MANTRI KAUSHAL  KENDRAS

(a)& (b) Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) guidelines has provision to set up PMKK centres for special groups like persons with disabilities, women centric programs, innovations, to support marginalized communities. One such special PMKK has been established in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district of Punjab in 2018 for catering to People with disabilities. However, 721 PMKKs had been established to provide skill training to all sections of the society including women, individuals with disabilities and individuals from marginalized communities.

(c) As on 10.03.2023, 699 PMKKs are functional in the country. The State wise/District-wise details of number of PMKKs functional are placed at Annexure. (d) Under the Short Term Training component of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), the number of women, individual with disabilities and individual from Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs) and Other Backward Class (OBC) reported placed during the last three years (2019-20 to 2021-22) are as follows:
