Will the Minister of DEFENCE be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has proposed entry of women in some branches under Indian Navy University Entry Scheme to end the institutional discrimination against women;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the number of women candidates who applied for each eligible branch of the course along with the present status of entry of women therein?

(a) & (b): The Indian Navy has opened all branches to women
