Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state:

(a) the number of persons benefited throughout the country with the launch of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana by the Government so far;

(b) whether the benefits of this scheme have been availed in West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra so far and if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the Government proposes to link more and more people with the scheme; and

(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) The number of person benefitted throughout the country with launch of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana is 3,03,38,305 so far.
