BENEFICIARIES OF DDU-GKY

Will the Minister of RURAL DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:

(a) the number of beneficiaries of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) in Pollachi constituency; and

(b) the amount of funds allocated, disbursed and utilised from 2019 by the State of Tamil Nadu, districtwise?

ANSWER

MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT

(SADHVI NIRANJAN JYOTI)

(a) Under DDU-GKY, so far 139 candidates have been benefited in Pollachi Constituency.

(b) As DDU-GKY is a demand driven scheme, no specific State-wise budget allocation is made. However, details of funds released and utilized by the State of Tamil Nadu from 2019-20 is given below:

All expenditures related to the training under DDU-GKY are carried out at State level through Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) and hence no allocation/ disbursement is made to the Districts.
