Will the Minister of JAL SHAKTI be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has sanctioned and released funds under Atal Bhujal Yojana(ABY) to the State of Maharashtra;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the number of villages where Atal Bhujal Yojana has been implemented so far; and
(d) whether the status of implementation is satisfactory to achieve desired results and if so, the details thereof?

(a) and (b) Yes Sir. Details of funds sanctioned & released to Maharashtra under Atal Bhujal Yojana (Atal Jal) as on 04.02.2022 is:

(c) The Scheme is being implemented in 1339 Gram Panchayats in 38 Taluks of 13 districts of Maharashtra.
(d) The scheme is under implementation from the year 2020-21. During initial phases the emphasis has been on creating an institutional structure to implement the scheme along with essential procurement activities. Till date 277 Water Security Plans have been prepared in Maharashtra with the active involvement of community including women. Action for various activities is being taken by the state.
