How to apply Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana or Pradhan Mantri Martu Vandana Yojana is a flagship scheme of Narendra Modi Government for pregnant women and lactating mothers. Under the PMMVY pregnancy aid scheme, the central government is providing a financial assistance of Rs. 6000 to the pregnant women and lactating mothers for the first live birth of child.
The PMMVY registration for claiming Rs. 6000 pregnancy aid can be done through the Anganwadi Centers (AWC) or the nearest approved health facility. The application form for registration under Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana can be obtained directly from the Anganwadi Centers or the approved health facility free of cost. The PMMVY pregnancy aid scheme application forms can also be downloaded from the official website of Ministry of Women and Child Development.
The dully filled PMMVY application form can be submitted at the same Anganwadi center or the health facility for the claim of pregnancy aid amount of Rs. 6000. The pregnant women and lactating mothers who have their pregnancy on or after 1 January 2017 are eligible to apply for Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana.

The different forms for PMMVY 2020 are as below.
- Form 1-A – For registration under PMMVY and claim of 1st Installment

- Form 2-A – Application form for Aadhar seeding of bank account of beneficiary
- Form 2-B – Application form for Aadhar seeding of post office saving account of beneficiary
- Form 2-C – For Aadhar enrollment and correction
The filling and submission of all the required PMMVY application forms will be facilitated by the AWC (Anganwadi Center), ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) and ANM (Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife).
All the application forms are to be submitted along with all the required documents such as Aadhar card of beneficiary along with of her husband with written consents, Aadhar seeded bank account details of beneficiary and Mobile Number of her/husband/family member’s.
