Science and Technology Programme Scheme Yojana for Aatmanirbhar Bharat in Mining Advancement : Satyabhama Portal
Central government has launched Satyabhama Portal at research.mines.gov.in on 15 June 2020. The Satyabhama Portal is a part of Science and Technology Programme Scheme of Ministry of Mines. Satyabhama stands for Science and Technology Yojana for Aatmanirbhar Bharat in Mining Advancement. The portal has been designed, developed and implemented by National Informatics Centre (NIC), Mines Informatics Division. People can now make registration and login at the official Satyabhama website.
At the Satyabhama Portal, people can check guidelines for support to mining research and guidelines for implementation of information, education and communication component of S & T Scheme. Science and Technology Yojana for Aatmanirbhar Bharat in Mining Advancement
In contrast to the present system where research proposals are submitted physically by the Scientists / Researchers, SATYABHAMA Portal allows online submission of project proposals. Moreover, there is an online mechanism for monitoring of the projects and utilization of funds/grants. The researchers can also submit progress reports and Final Technical Reports of the projects in the electronic format in the portal. A User Manual is also available on the Portal where the step-wise procedures for submission of project proposals have been highlighted. The Portal is integrated with NGO Darpan Portal of NITI Aayog.
