SURVEY OF PROJECTS UNDER MPLAD SCHEME
SHRI RAVI KISHAN:
Will the Minister of STATISTICS AND PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has proposed to conduct any study / survey across the country regarding implementation of projects under Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS);
(b) if so, the details and the outcome thereof;
(c) the funds allocated and released under the said scheme during each of the last three years and the current year;
(d) the details of funds utilised/ spent with regard to the above projects, State/ UT-wise during the said period; and

(e) the total number of projects completed under the said scheme during the last three years, State/ UT-wise?

(a) and (b) The Ministry undertakes study/ survey of works completed under Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme ( MPLADS) from time to time. Last such study/ survey was conducted in selected district through independent agencies in the year 2012-13. During the current year also it is proposed to undertake the same for evaluation of the scheme.
(c) The funds allocated and released for last three years and current year upto 29.02.2020 under the MPLADS is as follows:-
