(a) District wise details of number of beneficiaries identified by the State Government of Kerala through demand survey under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) [PMAY(U)] are at Annexure.

(b) Considering the stress situation due to heavy floods of 2018 in Kerala, central assistance of Rs. 492.95 crore was released to the State Government as first and second installments together for construction of houses sanctioned under PMAY (U), by relaxing the conditions for release as a special case. Simultaneously, the State Government of Kerala was also advised to send project proposals for consideration under the scheme including for those who were affected by the flood.
