Details and Number of Petrol Refilling Stations/Retail Outlets in the Country

(a) State/UT/OMC-wise details of number of petrol refilling stations/Retail Outlets in the country as on 01.07.2019 are given in Anneuxre-1.

(b) State/UT/OMC-wise details of Letter of Intents (LOIs) issued for setting up of petrol and diesel filling station/Retail Outlets as on 01.07.2019 are given in Annexure-2.

District/OMC-wise details of LOIs issued in Madhya Pradesh for setting up of petrol filling station/Retail Outlets as on 01.07.2019 are given in Annexure-3.

Commissioning of the Retail Outlets (ROs) is a continuous process and the ROs are commissioned after obtaining No Objection Certificate and approvals from the respective statutory authorities.

(c) Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have implemented new Dealership Selection Guidelines w.e.f. 24.11.2018. As per  the  guidelines, candidates applying for dealership should have passed Minimum 10th (examination conducted by a Board/School). Certificate issued by Armed Forces as equivalent to 10th Class pass in accordance with Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Dept. of Personnel and Training) notification No. 15012/8/82-Estt (D) dated 12.02.1986 will also be considered. Minimum Educational qualification is not applicable to Freedom Fighters under Combined Category 2.

state: Will the Minister of PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS be pleased to

  • (a) the details and number of petrol refilling stations/Retail Outlets in the country, State/UT-wise;
  • (b) whether the Government proposes to set up new petrol refilling stations/Retail Outlets in various States during the current financial year and if so, the details thereof, State/UT-wise including district-wise details of Madhya Pradesh; and
  • (c) the details of the educational qualifications prescribed in this regard?
