Prime Minister of Bhutan calls on the President
Dr Lotay Tshering, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan, called on the President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, at Rashtrapati Bhavan today (December 29, 2018).
Welcoming Dr. Tshering to India, the President said that he was delighted to welcome the Bhutanese delegation to India in the Golden Jubilee year of the establishment of the formal diplomatic ties between India and Bhutan. The President said that India welcomed the successful conduct of the third general elections in Bhutan and congratulated the Prime Minister of Bhutan on DNT’s victory in the elections. The President reiterated India’s commitment to partner in the socio-economic development of Bhutan and to support its 12th Five Year Plan based on its priorities

भूटान के प्रधानमंत्री ने राष्ट्रपति से भेंट की
भूटान के प्रधानमंत्री डॉ. लोटे टीशेरिंग ने आज (29 दिसंबर, 2018) को राष्ट्रपति भवन में राष्ट्रपति श्री राम नाथ कोविंद से भेंट की।
भारत में डॉ. टीशेरिंग का स्वागत करते हुए राष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि भारत और भूटान के बीच औपचारिक राजनयिक संबंधों की स्थापना के स्वर्ण जयंती वर्ष के उपलक्ष्य में भारत की यात्रा पर आये भूटानी प्रतिनिधिमंडल का स्वागत करते हुए उन्हें अत्यंत प्रसन्नता का अनुभव हो रहा है। राष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि भारत ने भूटान में तीसरे आम चुनावों के सफल आयोजन का स्वागत किया और चुनावों में डीएनटी की विजय पर भूटान के प्रधानमंत्री को बधाई दी। राष्ट्रपति ने भूटान के सामाजिक-आर्थिक विकास में भागीदार बनने और अपनी प्राथमिकताओं के आधार पर भूटान की 12वीं पंचवर्षीय योजना में सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए भारत की प्रतिबद्धता को भी दोहराया।
