WIDOW PENSION SCHEME

Will the Minister of RURAL DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:
(a) the total number of beneficiaries under the Widow Pension Scheme in the country, State- wise;
(b) the number of cases currently pending in Bijnor and Shrawasti Parliamentary Constituencies; and
(c) whether all the eligible beneficiaries of this scheme in Bijnor and Shrawasti are getting the benefits in time and if so, the details thereof?

(a) The State-wise total number of beneficiaries under the Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS) in the Country is at Annexure.
(b) At present, no case is pending under IGNWPS in Bijnor and Shrawasti Parliamentary Constituencies, under widow pension scheme.
(c) All eligible beneficiaries in the Bijnor and Shrawasti Parliamentary Constituencies are getting pension under IGNWPS. The total beneficiaries under IGNWPS in Bijnor and Shrawasti constituency are 5994 and 6168, respectively.
