INSTALLMENTS OF PMAY-U LOAN

Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether ₹1.5 lakh per house is provided by Government under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) and as per existing policy every third installment is released by Government only after completion of the project and incase of non- completion of house approved under the scheme, the third installment for other remaining houses is not released; and
(b) whether approximately 2 lakh houses have been completed under the scheme in Madhya Pradesh but third installment has not been released by Central Government even for one house, if so, the reasons therefor and by when the installment will be released?

(b) Yes, Sir. State Government of Madhya Pradesh has submitted the necessary compliances for release of third instalment of Central Assistance and the proposal has been processed.
