Kendriya Vidyalaya to Open in Gadchiroli After Land Transfer and Infrastructure Readiness
केंद्र सरकार द्वारा वर्ष 2019 में स्वीकृत 50 नए केंद्रीय विद्यालयों की स्थापना योजना के अंतर्गत महाराष्ट्र के गड़चिरोली जिले को बड़ी सौगात मिली है। केंद्रीय विद्यालय संगठन (केवीएस) ने गड़चिरोली में शैक्षणिक सत्र 2026-27 से नए केंद्रीय विद्यालय के संचालन को मंजूरी प्रदान कर दी है।
गौरतलब है कि केंद्रीय विद्यालय संगठन ने अपने समसंख्यक कार्यालय आदेश दिनांक 08 मार्च 2019 के माध्यम से भारत सरकार की स्वीकृति के आधार पर देशभर में 50 नए केंद्रीय विद्यालयों की स्थापना का निर्णय लिया था। इस योजना के तहत यह स्पष्ट शर्त रखी गई थी कि संबंधित प्रायोजक प्राधिकरण (Sponsoring Authority) द्वारा विद्यालय के लिए चिन्हित एवं सीमांकित भूमि केंद्रीय विद्यालय संगठन को हस्तांतरित की जाएगी तथा विद्यालय प्रारंभ होने से पूर्व अस्थायी भवन उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा।
गड़चिरोली-चिमूर संसदीय क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत स्थित गड़चिरोली, जिला गड़चिरोली (महाराष्ट्र) इन 50 स्वीकृत नए केंद्रीय विद्यालयों में शामिल है।
अब संबंधित प्रायोजक प्राधिकरण द्वारा विद्यालय हेतु आवश्यक भूमि केंद्रीय विद्यालय संगठन के पक्ष में विधिवत हस्तांतरित कर दी गई है। साथ ही, विद्यालय के संचालन के लिए उपलब्ध कराया गया अस्थायी भवन भी उपयुक्त पाया गया है। इन सभी आवश्यक औपचारिकताओं के पूर्ण होने के बाद केंद्रीय विद्यालय संगठन ने सिविल सेक्टर के अंतर्गत शैक्षणिक सत्र 2026-27 से गड़चिरोली में नए केंद्रीय विद्यालय के संचालन की औपचारिक स्वीकृति प्रदान कर दी है।
इस निर्णय से गड़चिरोली जिले एवं आसपास के क्षेत्रों के विद्यार्थियों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण केंद्रीय शिक्षा प्राप्त करने का अवसर मिलेगा। साथ ही, स्थानीय अभिभावकों को भी अपने बच्चों के लिए केंद्रीय विद्यालय जैसी प्रतिष्ठित शैक्षणिक संस्था की सुविधा अपने ही जिले में उपलब्ध होगी। यह कदम क्षेत्र में शिक्षा के स्तर को सुदृढ़ करने तथा विद्यार्थियों के सर्वांगीण विकास की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल माना जा रहा है।

OFFICE ORDER
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan vide office-order of even number dated 08.03.2019, conveyed the approval of Government of India, for establishing 50 new Kendriya Vidyalayas under Civil/Defence Sector with the stipulation that the sponsoring authority concerned is required to transfer the identified demarcated land and also to give possession of the temporary accommodation to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan prior to opening of the new Kendriya Vidyalaya.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Gadchiroli, District Gadchiroli, Maharashtra in Parliamentary Constituency Gadchiroli-Chimur is one of the 50 new Kendriya Vidyalayas sanctioned in March 2019.
Since the land in the matter of this Kendriya Vidyalaya has been transferred by the Sponsoring Authority in favour of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and temporary accommodation has been found suitable, sanction is hereby conveyed to start a new Kendriya Vidyalaya under Civil Sector with effect from the session 2026-27 at the following location:
