WALK IN INTERVIEW
(A) RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF SENIOR RESIDENT ON 3 YEARS (THREE YEARS, SUBJECT TO RENEWAL/EXTENSI ON EVERY YEAR) .
Applications are invited for filling the vacant posts of Senior Residents for ESIC Hospital, Vapi for a period of three yea r on tenure basis (extendable every year), under Residency Scheme as per annual objective evaluation of work performance of concerned Head of Department or Competent Authority.

Note:- 1. If No Suitable Candidates are available against the advertised, then any other Candidate if present may be considered for Regular Senior Resident {03 Years) irrespective of category, for Short Term Engagement.
2. Candidates who have worked already as a Senior Residency under 03 years Central Senior Residency Scheme are not eligible for applying for the post of Senior Resident.
(B) THE POST OF SENIOR RESIDENTS (CONTRACTUAL) ON ONE YEAR AGAINST THE VACANT POST OF GDMO.
Applications are invited for filling the vacant posts of Senior Residents for ESIC Hospital, Va pi for one year contract basis against the vacant posts of GDMOs or till Regular GDMOs joins, and whichever is earlier.

Minimum Qualification
|
PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in concerned specialty
and registered with Medical Council. In the absence of PG
qualified doctors, MBBS gradates who posses at least 2
years working experience in the concerned specially will
be considered for selection. However, preference will be
given to PG qualified candidates.

Consolidated Remuneration
|
Rs. 121454/- fixed per month for candidate having
PG/Diploma . In addition to the pay, he will be entailed for
transport allowance with DA on transport allowance as per
rule. An amount of Rs. 1350/- will be deducted for
S.R.s posses only Diploma and Rs.2250/- will be
deducted if the S.R .s does not possess Diploma/Degree.

Duty
|
Timing of working hours- Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to
4:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM), however, he/she
will be allotted rotational duty and required for round the
clock availability or as ordered by the Medical
Superintend. To work as per norms of
residency.

SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPILCABLE TO SENIOR RESIDENTS (CONTRACTUAL) ON ONE YEAR.
- Tenure of Contract will be 01year from the date of actual joining.
- In case regular incumbent joins in, the appointment shall be terminated immediately. The discretion will be solely of Medical Superintendent.
- Private practice will be not allowed.
- Available on call 24×7 .
- She/He will be entitled for the leave @ 2.5 days for each months of work. On prorate basis in a calendar year.
- The selected specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the period as desired by ESIC in the bid. The policy is meant professional falling on them as a result of error and omission committed by them while rendering professional services, The minimum sum assured per annum should be Rs.30 lac for Anesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeon, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic surgeons etc. (2) Rs. 20 lakhs for General Surgeons, Gynecologist, Obstetrician etc. (3) for Physicians Dentists, Radiologists, Pathologists etc. It should be at least Rs.10 lacs. A copy of the insurance & Premium and receipt must be submitted within 7 days from the date of engagement.
- Other T&C would be in line with those issued vide HQ Letter dated 23.01.2018 as in.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Applicants having complete Bio-Data as per format uploaded (Annexure A-1) on ESIC website along with duly affixed recent passport size photograph, one set of attested photocopies of testimonials (including MBBS pass out marks sheets & certificates, 101 passing certificate as proof date of birth and SC/ST/OBC/PH Certificate) and other relevant documents including MCI / State registration certificate, may report to the office of Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital , Selvassa Road, Chanod, Vapi, Distt.- Valsad (Gujarat), on 26/05/2023 up to 11:00 AM and any application received thereafter will not be entertained.
2. Candidate seeking reservation benefits for SC/ST/OBC/EWS must ensure that they are entitled to such reservations per eligibility prescribed in the Notice. They should also be in possession of the required certificates in the prescribed format in support of their claim as stipulated in this Notice. OBC candidates should ensure that they are in possession of valid OBC Certificate issued within such issued by the authority mentioned in the format.

The candidate claiming reservation / age relaxation on grounds of belonging to OBC should submit the community Certificate in prescribe proforma vide Govt. Of India, Department of Personnel and Training OM No.36036/2/2013-Estt(Res). Date 30.05.2014 failing which the benefit of reservation I relaxation will not be given or their application shall be rejected and no request/ correspondence will be entertained. Certificates issued in other format will not be accepted and the candidates will be treated as “General Category” for all purpose. (format enclosed)
4. Those who belong to SC/ST/OBC category should produce valid caste certificate issued by the Tahsildar/Revenue Divisional Officer. OBC certificate must be as prescribed vide DoPT, Govt of India OM No. 36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 15.11.1993 which should certify that the candidate do not belong to anyone of the Creamy Layers. 5. Candidates claiming reservation under EWS category should produce their EWS certificate as prescribed vide DoPT, Govt of India OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt.(Res) dated 31.01.2019. (format enclosed)
6. Candidate suffering from 40% or more of the relevant disability shall only be eligible for the reservation for PH category. Certificate of disability in original from any Govt. hospital should be submitted at the time of interview.
7. The selected candidate will have to furnish a DD for an amount of Rs. 30,000/-(Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) drawn in favour of ‘ESIC fund A/c No 1’ payable at Va pi, towards security deposit.
8. Candidates working in Govt. Service should produce NOC from their department at the time of interview. Other terms and conditions shall be as per Govt. of India rules adopted by ESIC.

Note:
- No. TA/DA will be admissible either for the ‘Walk- in- interview’ or for joining the post.
- The number of posts may increase or decrease as per requirement, with the approval of Medical Superintendent.
- Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital, Vapi reserves the right to fill any or no posts or cancel the interview at any stage.
- The number of vacancies may be changed without any prior notice.
- The selected candidates will have to join stipulated date given in offer of appointment.
- The selection is subject to the candidates providing their medical fitness Certificate issued by Medical Board at ESIC Hospital Vapi.
- Candidates must be registered with Medial Council of India before joining the post.
- Selected candidates will have no claim for regularization of the service in the hospital or No claim for any service benefit like, PF, Pension, Gratuity, medical Allowance, Seniority, and Promotion.
- The candidates are advised to bring their application/Bio data and original certificates/documents with one set of self attested photocopies of the certificates/documents.
- All the candidates are directed to report in the office of the Medical Superintendent ESIC Hospital, Vapi, Valsad, Gujarat as per the timing mentioned above.
- The decision of the selection board will be final on all aspects of selection and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstance.
- Other terms & conditions will be applicable as issued by the Competent Authority from time to time.
