Speaking at the 4 day Event, from 26 to 29th November 2018,Secretary MWCD said that the idea behind the entire event is to provide a national platform for the children from CCIs across India to showcase their talent, to make them realise the hidden talent they possess and to help take it forward in their life. He said that this event would instil confidence in them to achieve greater heights in life. He also resolved to make the event like Hausla even stronger. He also said that the event shall inspire children of Child Care Institutions so that they can reach the National Stage for expressing their capabilities. The theme for the event is “Child Safety”.

• Painting Competition on 26th November 2018 : The creative talent in children is infinite and amazing, so much so that even the entire universe may seem like a small canvas to them. A creative activity like painting also helps in the development of the brain of a child. Expressing themselves through painting allows children to take part in an activity that is fun and fulfilling. It encourages them to look at situations with an open & creative mind. With this background in consideration, a painting competition is being organized by the Ministry of Women and Child Development on 26th November, 2018 for children from all the Child Care Institutions across the country at NIPCCD. The paintings will be judged by a panel of three judges.

• Debate Competition on 26th November,2018 : In today’s competitive space where excellence is a cliché, it is wise to make children aware as well as ready for the outer world. Perhaps, there are ways in which children compete and succeed. But individual expression has become very limited. Today’s children are largely engrossed in technology, leaving behind the real interaction. This is why it is necessary to encourage children into participating in activities like debates which shall have a long-term impression on a child’s self-expression. In this regard, a debate competition is being organized by the Ministry of Women and Child Development on 26th November, 2018 at NIPCCD. The children shall be judged by a panel of three judges.

• Athletics Meet, Chess Competition and Football Matches on 28-29 November 2018 : Through play, children explore, invent and create. They also develop social skills, learn to express their emotions, and gain confidence about their own capabilities. The Ministry is organizing athletics meet (100 meters race, 200 m race, 100 x 4 meter relay race, long jump, high jump), chess competition and football matches for boys and girls from CCIs. The events will be organized at JawaharLal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.

• Safe Neighborhood Project Day on 27th November 2018 : It is not just the home environment that influences a child; the neighborhood in which he/she lives does too. A close-knit neighborhood can provide a sense of belonging, safety, and support. Feeling safe in the neighborhood is important for mental health and overall well-being and is linked to lower rates of mental illness, greater social interaction, and neighborhood trust. This activity is aimed to empower and inspire children to voice their opinions on what they perceive as Safety in a Neighborhood. The children will make models, do role-play, theatre, skit, sing, dance etc. on the subject. The children shall be judged by a panel of judges from MWCD.

• The Concluding Ceremony on 29th November 2018 : The four-day long celebration will culminate through the concluding ceremony which will be organized on 29th November (evening) at Siri Fort Auditorium, Hauz Khas, New Delhi. The event will include a cultural programme by the children of CCIs, presentation of Best State Team Award based on performance during Hausla 2018 and Prize distribution to all winners of each individual event by Hon’ble Minister, WCD.

इस अवसर पर श्री श्रीवास्‍तव ने कहा कि इस पूरे कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्‍य देशभर के सीसीआई के बच्‍चों को राष्‍ट्रीय मंच प्रदान करना है, ताकि वे अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन कर सकें, उनकी छुपी हुई प्रतिभा बाहर आ सके और वे उसे अपने जीवन में आगे ले जा सके। उन्‍होंने हौसला जैसे कार्यक्रमों को और मजबूती प्रदान करने की प्रतिबद्धता व्‍यक्‍त की। उन्‍होंने कहा कि इस तरह के कार्यक्रमों से बच्‍चों की देखरेख करने वाली संस्‍थानों के बच्‍चों को प्रेरणा मिल सकती है और वे अपनी क्षमताओं को प्रकट करने के लिए राष्‍ट्रीय मंच तक पहुंच सकते है। इस कार्यक्रम का विषय है, ‘‘बच्‍चों की सुरक्षा’’।

• 26 नवम्‍बर, 2018 को पेंटिंग प्रतियोगिता : बच्‍चों में सृजनात्‍मक प्रतिभा असीमित और आश्‍चर्यजनक है, यहां तक की पूरा ब्रह्मांड उन्‍हें एक छोटे कैनवस की तरह दिखाई देता है। सृजनात्‍मक गतिविधि जैसे पेंटिंग बच्‍चे के दिमाग के विकास में मदद करती है। पेंटिंग के जरिये अभिव्‍यक्ति से बच्‍चे मनोरंजक कार्यों में भाग लेते हैं। यह उन्‍हें खुले और सृजनात्‍मक दिमाग से स्थितियों को देखने के लिए प्रोत्‍साहित करती है। इसी पृष्‍ठभूमि में महिला और बाल विकास मंत्रालय ने एनआईपीसीसीडी में देशभर के बच्‍चों की देखरेख करने वाली सभी संस्‍थानों के बच्‍चों के लिए 26 नवम्‍बर, 2018 को पेंटिंग प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की है। तीन जजों का पैनल सर्वश्रेष्‍ठ पेंटिंगों का चयन करेगा।

• 26 नवम्‍बर, 2018 को वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता : आज की प्रतिस्‍पर्धा की दुनिया में, जहां उत्‍कृष्‍टता मामूली बात मानी जाती है, यह उचित होगा कि बच्‍चों को बाहरी दुनिया के लिए तैयार किया जाए। कई ऐसे तरीके हैं, जिसमें बच्‍चे प्रतिस्‍पर्धा कर सकते है और सफल हो सकते हैं, लेकिन व्‍यक्तिगत अभिव्‍यक्ति सीमित हो गई है। आज बच्‍चे बड़े पैमाने पर टेक्‍नोलॉजी में तल्‍लीन हो गये हैं, वास्‍तव में बातचीत को पीछे छोड़ चुके हैं, इसलिये जरूरी है बच्‍चों को वाद-विवाद जैसी प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने के लिए प्रोत्‍साहित किया जाए, जिससे उनकी अभिव्‍यक्ति पर दीर्घकालिक असर पड़ेगा। इस संबंध में एनआईपीसीसीडी में 26 नवम्‍बर, 2018 को महिला और बाल विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा एक वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता का आयो‍जन किया गया। तीन जजों का पैनल सर्वश्रेष्‍ठ बच्‍चों का चयन करेगा।

• 28-29 नवम्‍बर, 2018 को खेलकूद प्रतियोगिता, शतरंज प्रतियोगिता और फुटबॉल मैच : नाटक के जरिये बच्‍चे अन्‍वेषण, अविष्‍कार और सृजन कर सकते हैं। वे सामाजिक कौशल, अपनी भावनाओं को व्‍यक्त करना भी सीख सकते है और अपनी क्षमताओं के बारे में विश्‍वास हासिल कर सकते हैं। मंत्रालय सीसीआई के लड़कों और लड़कियों के लिए खेलकूद प्रतियोगिता (100 मीटर दौड़, 200 मीटर दौड़, 100 x 4 मीटर रिले दौड़, लंबी कूद, ऊंची कूद), शतरंज प्रतियोगिता और फुटबॉल मैचों का आयोजन करेगा। ये प्रतियोगिताएं नई दिल्‍ली के जवाहरलाल नेहरू स्‍टेडियम में आयोजित की जाएंगी।

• 27 नवम्‍बर, 2018 को सुरक्षित पड़ोसी परियोजना दिवस : केवल घर का वातावरण ही बच्‍चे को प्रभावित नहीं करता; बल्कि जिस पड़ोस में वह रहता है उसका भी असर पड़ता है। करीबी पड़ोसी अपनी चीजों की इफाजत, सुरक्षा और सहयोग की भावना दे सकता है। मानसिक, स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य और सम्‍पूर्ण भलाई के लिए पड़ोस में सुरक्षित महसूस करना महत्‍वपूर्ण है और इसका संबंध मानसिक रोग की दरों में कमी लाने, अधिक सामाजिक व्‍यवहार और पड़ोसी के साथ विश्‍वास से जुड़ा हुआ है। इसका उद्देश्‍य बच्‍चों को सशक्‍त बनाना और उन्‍हें अपने विचार रखने के लिए प्रेरित करना है। महिला और बाल विकास मंत्रालय के तीन जजों का पैनल सर्वश्रेष्‍ठ बच्‍चों का चयन करेगा।

• 29 नवम्‍बर, 2018 को समापन समारोह : चार दिन तक चलने वाले समारोह का समापन 29 नवम्‍बर, 2018 को सिरी फोर्ट ऑडोटिरियम, हौजखास, नई दिल्‍ली में होगा। इस अवसर पर सीसीआई के बच्‍चे एक सांस्‍कृतिक प्रस्‍तुत करेंगे और हौसला-2018 के दौरान प्रदर्शन के आधार पर महिला और बाल विकास मंत्री द्वारा प्रत्‍येक श्रेणी के सभी विजेताओं को पुरस्‍कृत किया जाएगा।
